Chapter 1

Aleece's Pov.

"Hello?" I said nervously. This could be the call I've been waiting for.

"Hello, Is this Aleece Wood?" said the voice on the other end of the line.

"Y-yes it is. M-may I ask who's calling?" I stuttered into the receiver.

"I'm Jennica Daniels, Ryan Murphy's assistant. I'm calling to say you have got the part of...let me see...Catie Young. You start this Friday, is that ok? she said disinterestedly.

"Yes, that's just fine." I said trying to conceal my excitement.

"Great." and with that the line was dead.

"OH. MY. GOD! Did that just happen?!" I yelled.

My roommate Natalie yelled back from her room, "Did what just happen?! Are you ok?!"

"I GOT THE PART! I'm going to play Catie Young!" I screamed.

She looked at me skeptically "What?...your not joking with me right? This isn't April first RIGHT!?"

"I'm not! I just got off the phone. I can't believe it!" I said.

" CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so proud of you! See my roommate is a A-list actor!"

"I wouldn't go that far. Who knows if my character even makes it past this season"

The rest of my week goes bye painfully slow, but today's the day, Friday. I park my car and walk to the meeting area. There I find most of the cast. Chris, Chord, and Jenna were standing in a clump in the corner. I am literally fangirling on the inside, but of course I can't show it. They might think I'm a dork.

Chris waves me over, "You must be Aleece. I'm Chris and this is Chord, and Jenna."

"I know who you are!" I say before I can stop it.

"Haha..I see. Your a fan?" said Jenna.

"Yes." I say sheepishly, "A big one."

"Don't worry. I was too." Chord says with a wink.

"Alright everyone. Let's get started" Ryan says as he walks into the room. "Wait, where's Darren? Does anybody know where Darren is?"

Chris nervously steps forward. "He hasn't showed up yet."

"This is the third time this week! If he shows up late one more time he's-" he was interrupted by the one and only Darren Criss.

"Sorry I'm late! Traffic was hell."

"Well make sure it doesn't happen again Mr. Criss." Ryan said angrily. "Now on to business, I would like to introduce you to our new cast member Aleece Wood. She will be playing Catie Young, Blaine's long lost best friend. Give her a hand."

Everyone clapped. I blushed.

"Now places everyone. It's time to get started!" said Ryan.

I walked up to him, "So what do I do now?"

"You are off to hair and makeup. I'll show you the way." he answered.

We went out of the room and too the left.

We walked into a large room to find two very nice looking older ladies. One blonde, one brunette.

"This is the hair and makeup department. Kelly and Sarah, this is Aleece Wood are new cast member.

"Hi! I'm Kelly." said the brunette. "I'll be your makeup artist."

The blonde came over and shook my hand, "And I'm Sarah. Your hair stylist."

"Well I'm going to leave you with these talented ladies. If you have any questions call me." Ryan said leaving the room.

"Let's get started!" said Kelly.

After an hour and a half, and tons of product I was done. My normally curly red locks were pin straight, and my green eyes popped with the jet black eyeliner Kelly had put on.

"I know. Don't look anything like yourself. That's what they all say." said Sarah.

"I better get going. Thank you so much, it looks great." I walked out of the trailer and straight into someone.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry!" I say looking up. My eyes meet with the most amazing hazel ones I've ever seen, and they belong to Darren Freakin' Criss.
