I roll off you and onto the soft spongy mattress beside you. Sweat is dripping off my forehead, after our night of passion, and it's making it's way down my cheeks as I stare up at the ceiling. You lean over me and gently push my shoulder indicating for me to roll over. And when I do, I cross my arms and lay them on the pillow in front of me.
One of your soft, but manly hands, then slips it's way around my waist and pulls me in closer to you and at the same time your other hand has ran up and down the length of my back. Your mouth then closes in on my shoulder and places a gentle kiss on my shoulder blade as we sink into each other and fall into a peaceful sleep.
When I wake I feel the hot rays from the sun resting on my body but not your hands. I push myself up and pull the soft silk sheets closer to me as they surround my body. That's when I notice that you haven't gone and that you still lightly snoring beside me. I turn over, prepping myself up on my arm, and just sit there for a couple of minutes watching you sleep. That's when you start to grumble and wake and I just stare into those captivating eyes of yours as you slowly start to recognize where you are. My bed. You don't seem scared though, you just smile remembering what happened last night. I look down and smile at your beautiful face as a hand comes up from your side and gently pushes back a stray strand of blonde hair that has fallen onto my face. We just stay there for a couple of minutes, just looking into each others eyes I lean down and place a gentle kiss on you lips and whisper "Do you want a coffee?" You gently nod, and smile, and I push myself to the end of the bed and swing my legs over. But before I could go anywhere, you're behind me, the silk sheets covering your bottom half, and placing another gentle kiss on my neck. I lean over you and pick up my nightgown off of the bedpost and wrap it around myself, putting the arms in my sleeves as I go. I stand up, tie the material which is draped over my shoulders closed. I then start to make my way out of the bedroom when I hear the words "Hurry back" come from your mouth. I turn around and smile as I grasp the door handle and pull it closed.
I hear a thud and I know that you have fallen back into a deep peaceful sleep. But later when I come back up I won't really care because I will sit down beside you and watch the expressions your face makes as you have a nice dream. Then I will smile too because I will notice that I have you and that you are mine. And for the first time in my life I am truly happy because I have everything that I need in my life and that you are the person who completed that puzzle.
