Bonjour everyone! This has been in my head since the chapter Ace said this. I decided to finish this in a bit different format than my others for fun! Also I really wanted to submit something today because its my birthday! :D I'm sorry for the long wait on any form of story its just that I'm in the middle of exams and some projects I need to really finish. Once all the craziness is over I shall write more! :) ~RIP Ace~

"If you happen to come across Dadan could you say goodbye for me? Its weird now that I'm about to die I feel like I miss that idiot."

The wind blew sharply through the sails of Thousand Sunny bringing its passengers ever so closer to the landmass coming into view. The island was neither small nor large but its size was something to behold. There was only a few things going through the mind of the captain, what to do and how to say it.

Picking up speed the pirate ship quickly made its way to the port of a small village. As tempted as Luffy was to run into town to find a certain bar and greet its owner he refrained so, he was here for one main reason. Giving a nod to his nakama he jumped down landing with ease. Everyone understood what was to happen and stayed behind despite their lingering curiosity.

The trek up the mountain was easy after playing amongst those very trees all those many years ago it was nothing more than just a simple walk, child's play really. It was only a few more miles before Luffy could see a large hideout tucked within the surrounding foliage. Beside the base was a very poorly constructed shack with a big sign saying "Luffy Land." Said person smiled at such fond memories of his so-called home.

Was there even a reason to knock at the door of the place you grew up in? For Luffy that would obviously be a no. So without further hesitation a rubbery fist met the wood of the house shattering a hole through the wall. As one would expect from a receiving a punch through their home its residents quickly flocked outside demanding for an answer. Then all was silent.

Tears, laughter, and cheers rang throughout the base as the bandits were dancing while singing happily drunk thanks to the arrival of family. Stories were shared as they celebrated Luffys return. All was bright and cheery till he spoke up revealing his presence.

Grim faces were about and with each word he spoke they grew more upset. When his tale finally came to an end there wasn't a dry eye to be seen. Though not surprisingly the one who was crying waterfalls would be the leader of the gang. She shouted threats, insults, and remarks that would be considered loving if you knew her.

The sobs eventually quieted down after much persuasion and they became nothing more than sniffles in the corner. After much more talking the Straw Hat captain stood up ready to head back down to his crew. Of course not without saying his own personal goodbye.

"Dadan I still hate bandits! But I like you."
