Disclaimer; I do not own Harry Potter.

One-Shot! I'm serious, I'm not writing any more than this.

Lily and James Potter have just sat down for dinner when James's mirror activates. Startled, but not surprised, James went to see who it is. Sirius's face showed through and spoke before James could speak.

"James, do you want to be part of the biggest prank of our lives?" Of course James couldn't say no to pranks, but they are in a war and Lily would be mad at him.

But he felt everything is fine. Peter is their secret keeper, everyone thinks its Sirius and he wouldn't do anything that will hurt them. The only one missing is Remus, but this is a war and it's hard to know who to trust.

It's Halloween, and James and Lily are left wondering what Sirius prank is. Goblins have been coming and going, moving things around, adding other things and not saying anything. Then a woman with two black-haired men came in with a goblin.

The men were Sirius Black and Severus Snape. At first they thought that Sirius has betrayed them. Then the woman introduces herself as Madame Primrose with the men as her two assistants, who convince her to help. Madame Primrose promises everything would be fine and they would be safe.

That faithful night they were betrayed. The dark lord brakes down the door easily enough. He expected Potter to be there, foolishly waiting to defend his family. He expected the parents to foolishly put up a fight.

He didn't expect a woman dressed in odd clothes for witches, a black suit with lavender rose in the front pocket and a top hat.

It didn't matter; the child should still be here. He'll have them all killed before the night is over.

Yet, every spell he cast either reflects back, she just disappears or both. Her voice taunts him, blinding him to his rage. He fires a killing curse, only for it to reflect back at him, killing him.

Whatever piece of soul he left behind got sucked up by the hidden, uncut gems that surround the home. The dark lord is no more, or so it seems.

Harry was never cursed, never became the-boy-who-lived, and never lost his parents. He would never have to be placed in an orphanage since his aunt had gone missing just before Lily's fifth year ended. More changes came, but this story isn't about that. It's about the biggest prank that defeated the dark lord.

The prank is a muggle magician with good ties with the goblins had defeated the dark lord with his own magic, as well as the classic smoke and mirrors trick. Black and Snape being her apprentices is just icing on the cake.

But more surprising than Peter betraying them or both Snape and Black working together on the prank, is Madame Primrose's true identity; Lily's missing sister, Petunia Evans.

AN: This idea would not leave me alone, and yet I had so much trouble with it that I just said "Screw it, I'm just going to write in poor quality" and here it is. I wanted to read a fanfiction were Petunia got interested in stage magic but no one seemed to have thought of it.

If you want to use this idea, let me know.
