Andromeda Black had always been taught to take pride in her family.
She had always been taught that she was better than half-bloods and mudbloods and muggles because her blood was pure.
She had always believed it.
After all, why shouldn't she?
But then she met him.
The mudblood (muggleborn).
Ted Tonks.
And he was an annoyance,
Then an acquaintance,
And then so much more.
He went against everything she had ever known.
(And he was wonderful.)
Her family would hate her for it, and that hurt,
But he loved her, and that was what mattered.
She would be alright, because (soon) she'd be Andromeda Tonks with a husband and a family,
And family meant everything to Andromeda.
