Chapter 1
"Stay, here..." Toriel said with heavy breaths. "They will kill you, the whole lot of them." Chamomille stayed silent as she stared in awe at Toriel, towering over her. She was so tall, and her purple robe was torn up to her knees. It was her face that scared her the most. Her once-white fur was grey and matted, and her eyes were bloodshot, making it as if her pupils were red as well.
She shook her head, taking a step back.
"Very well. Prove it then! Prove to me you are strong enough to survive this hell of a world!" Darkness engulfed the room and the two of them were flung into a battle. Four lights shone in front of Chamomille, Fight, Act, Item, Mercy. She gave Toriel a sympathetic look, even though various flames were being flung at her, hitting her every now and then.
She presses the Mercy buttton.
"What are you doing?! Fight or run away!" Toriel screamed, slinging a huge fireball at her, knocking her back. Chamomille cried out in pain as it made contact with her chest, her HP was now at 1/20.
She presses the Mercy button.
Sadness flashed in Toriel's eyes and all of her attacks failed to hit Chamomille.
"I-I... Know, you want to go home, but..."
She presses the mercy button.
"They will kill you..."
She presses the Mercy button.
Toriel sighs and her flames vanish. She takes a knee and opens her arms.
"Come here, child.." Chamomille walked towards her as the room returned to normal. She was surprised to find that even in this state, Toriel smelled of flowers as she hugged her. "I cannot keep you here, and I cannot bring myself to kill you..." The two separated and toriel walked down the hallway a bit, turning around. "Do not come back." Toriel waved a hand and the large door opened. Chamomille walked out and spun around, only to see that the door was already closed. She sighed and held her arms as sshe shivered. She was now in a large, wintery forest with huge trees and a light snowfall. Chamomille took a deeb breath and slowly walked forward, aching from the fight with Toriel.
craaack
A snapping sound came from behind her and Chamomille and she jumped.. She glanced around as quick as she could, but nothing was there but fragments of a large stick she had pased a minute ago. Her pulse quickened and she looked ahead, not wanting to look back. She had barely continued walking for about five minutes before a second set of running footsteps came rushing towards her. She gasped and shot around.
But nothing was there, not a single footstep in the snow.
By now she was beathing heavily and shaking, feeling as though her heart was ready to fly out of her chest. Her eyes were wide open, not daring to look back again. It was when she reached a large wooden gate that a deep voice sounded directly behind her. She was too paralized to move as it spoke.
" n. . ." She shakily turned around and jumped back with a tiny squal as she saw a thick skeleton standing inches away. His single red glowing eye was wide open and he had a large grin on his face, a single golden tooth shining in contrast t his black and red jacket. "What? Dont'cha know how to greet a new pal?" He said mischeiviously, opening both red eyes and lazily holding out a hand. She meekly reached out and grabbed it, a sharp jolt of electricity coursing through her. She stumbled a bit before stumbling down. He rolled his eyes and loomed over her as her vision darkened. The last thing she heard before blacking out was, "Gee lady, ya really know how to pick 'em huh?"
