She hated him.

How she hated his baby blue eyes that had first drawn her to him, his rich, golden hair that looked as if it were made from the Sun itself, his pale pink lips that seem so soft, and his carefree personality that made it so nothing ever bothered him.

Most of all, she just hated him and the reason was oh, so terrible -she was actually falling for him.

Victoire Weasley never fell for anyone -her heart was untouchable, unbreakable, and as cold as ice. She had been like a succubus, feeding off the love of foolish boys, but the tables had turned and now she was the fool. Lysander made her tongue-tied by a simple, innocent "hello" and when he spoke her name, she couldn't even think straight.

He was so friendly, so caring, so gorgeous -she could not really help herself but to fall so damn hard for him. He was a relief, like a breath of fresh air, after all of those brainless boys that she had dated. Victoire hated to admit it but Lysander was perfect for her…

Hmm, Victoire Scamander… The name had been tossed around and repeated so often in her mind that sometimes she had to remind herself that he wasn't hers -that he was already taken.

Yes, Lysander was as off limits as a guy could be -he was her sister's fiancé. Victoire would not attempt to ruin it for Dominique -not because she didn't want to, she really did, but because she had had the same thing happen to her. Perfect little Lily Luna Potter had snatched Teddy right out from under her nose as few years back. It had annoyed Victoire more than anything -she had never loved him, anyways. But she did think that Dominique loved Lysander and she wouldn't hurt her baby sister like that.

So what was she to do? Well, she had recently heard that the war hero just went through a divorce and Victoire Longbottom didn't sound too bad…
