(A/N: I was going to wait to post this until Dr. Fine showed up on the character list, but then I decided I wanted to post it now. So here's a fic about Dr. Fine. Enjoy!)

The First Meeting

Dr. Fine sat in his office, waiting for his new patient, Diana Goodman, to arrive.

He didn't know much about Diana. Was she someone who sat there quietly, talking in whispers and as-short-as-possible answers, or would she act like a two year old, kicking and screaming? Maybe she would be one of those people who switched every week, keeping him on his toes and never knowing what was going to happen. He hated that.

Suddenly, screaming began outside. "I don't want to go to a new doctor!" A voice shrieked. "I'm perfectly fine the way I am!"

"Di," a calmer but still loud voice said, "You have to see him. We both agreed this would be best for you. Remember the words painted on the door of the building? 'Dr. Fine makes you feel fine.' Don't you want to feel fine?"

"I do feel fine!" The first voice protested.

After a bit more screaming, the door to Dr. Fine's office opened and in stepped Diana Goodman.

"So, Dr. Fine," she hissed, her voice dripping with venom. "Make me feel fine."

Dr. Fine sighed. He was beginning to regret making that his slogan.
