My Big Brother
Hikari paced the living room, looking up every few seconds; Taichi was supposed to come home and play a game with her! Her attention was drawn to the living room door as Taichi and an upset looking Mrs. Yagami entered the house.
"Mommy, I swear I had nothing to do with it!" Taichi had tears in his eyes, a look that said, 'I have no idea what I did to make you mad, momma' look on his face. Hikari frowned as Mrs. Yagami took Taichi back to his room. A few minutes later, Taichi came out sniffling.
"What happened Nii-San?" Hikari looked confused a second.
"Nothing, Hikari; Momma thinks I got into a fight at school..." He said sadly.
"Well..how about a game! Surely that would cheer you up, Nii-San!" Hikari said. Taichi gave her a false smile.
"That'd be good, Hikari." He said. Hikari grinned, before dragging Taichi outside. It was as clear as day!
"What about the Dragons Kingdom? How did the story go, Nii-San...?" Hikari thought, causing Taichi to smile.
"Once there was a beautiful princess living with the King in the Northern Kingdoms. Little did the King know, thier palace would be invaded by a fire breathing Dragon..."
"No!" Hikari cried, her eyes widening.
"Yes! And do you know who defeated the Dragon, Hikari?" Taichi grinned at the confused look on Hikari's face.
"...You, Nii-San?" She asked; Taichi could do anything!
"No. In fact, it was the beautiful princess Hikari! The princess of..." Taichi trailed off.
"Light!" Hikari said.
"Exactly, Hikari!" Taichi said, grinning.
"Let's play Kings and Dragons, Nii-San!" Hikari said.
"How about Princesses and Dragons?" Taichi asked.
"Yay!" Hikari cheered. Taichi smiled, before running into the trees behind him.
"...Nii-San...?" Hikari looked around, before getting tackled.
"Agh, Nii-San, you're heavy!" Taichi got off, helping her up.
"Now then, Hikari-Chan." Taichi held a finger up.
"Yes...?" Hikari looked up.
"You're the princess, I'm the Dragon; you must defeat me!" Taichi cried. Hikari frowned, before running after him. Taichi's eyes widened, before he zipped out of the way. Hikari grinned, before picking a stick up and poking Taichi in the stomach with it. Taichi paused, before feigning pain and falling to the ground.
"…Have been…defeated…by the great…Princess Of Light! No!" He screamed, his eyes closing. Hikari frowned after five minutes, before silently walking over to Taichi.
"…Nii-San…?" She asked quietly. She was about to turn around, when Taichi's eyes snapped open and he grabbed her. Hikari grinned.
"I knew you weren't dead!" She cried, hugging him. Taichi smirked.
"Why would I die? I'm here to be your bigger brother, and I'll always be here, Hikari-Chan!" He said, before picking her up and carrying her into the house. This was only little of their journey before they went on to bigger tasks. Including new grades, new friends, and new battles against the Digital World…
