The idea was hilarious in my head, but I'm not sure the writing gives it justice.

Nail Polish

"Come on, get going."
Sasuke stood outside the door to his brother's room. He gave a nervous gulp and turned back to the group hoping to find sympathy, but he was disappointed.
"Go on, you can't back out now."
He nodded and pushed open the door.
He let out a breath of relief when he saw the mass that was his brother asleep on his bed.
He crept silently over to his brother's desk and quickly swiped his target, Itachi's purple nail polish. Then he snuck back out of the room.
"Did ya get it?"
Sasuke held up the nail polish with a triumphant smile.
"Great, now for phase two."

The next day, Itachi was at school when he happened to notice that some of his nail polish was chipping off and his nails needed to be repainted.
When he got home, he headed to his room to repaint them, but when he reached his desk, there was no nail polish to be found.
I could have sworn I had just gotten a new bottle. Oh well.
He walked to the nearby store to buy a new bottle.
He was rather shocked to find that his shade was out of stock. There weren't even any back in storage.
He shook his head, and headed off to the other store, surely, it was impossible for two stores to be sold out of the same color nail polish.
COUPLEMINUTESLATER
Itachi stared at the shelf in disbelief. Not a single bottle of nail polish. How was this possible? He shook his head and began to walk out of the store, but then the shade of a girl's nails caught his eye.
He grabbed her hand and ignored her fainting, carefully examining the color. There was no doubt about it; she was wearing his favorite color of nail polish.
He looked around the store. Just about every girl in there had on his favorite color of nail polish.
What the…?
"Hey Itachi."
He froze. Then turned around slowly.
"Kia?"
He wasn't very found of her. She was the head of his little "fanclub" of sorts.
"I have some nail polish if you need any, I'd be willing to trade you for it."
"Trade what exactly?"
"A date."
He stood there debating. Is it really worth it? He glanced down at his chipped fingernails. Yes it was.
"Fine."

"Thanks for the evening."
Itachi nodded, hoping she would leave now that they had reached his doorstep. She handed him the bottle of nail polish and was walking down the sidewalk when she called back.
"Bye! Oh and thank your little brother for me too!"
What why would she…suddenly it all made sense.
Sasuke…party…games…missing nail polish…date with hated fangirl.
He is soooooooo dead.

So that's my randomness. A slightly modified version of this will be in chapter ten of IMing Love, which will be posted as soon as I type it up.
