When Light meets Dark
She was dark; he was light. Two broken souls find comfort in each other's emptiness, not realizing in their time together they've managed to fill each other's voids. ExB AU
Chapter 1
As I looked down at my tanned legs my alarm went off 'It was a long and dark December from the rooftops I remember there was snow, white snow'. Coldplay rung out in the air as I smoothly tucked my hair back into a pony tail. It was still dark outside when I hopped in the shower, letting the warm water cascade down my shoulders. My shampoo fell right onto my big toe causing me to swear 'Shit!'
I was Isabella Marie Swan, national model. I'm hardcore and very stubborn. And I have no friends.
I pulled on my new balance shoes and grabbed a Nike sweatshirt as the crisp autumn air hit my face. I felt my cheeks pinken and the sun was on the horizon, starting to greet the New York area. I started to power-walk, and picked up the pace with a light jog. Central Park was beautiful when the sun was rising, the grass had a light sheen of dew glowing and the dusty clouds glided in synch with the baby blue sky.
I awkwardly picked my wedgie from my Victoria's Secret thong. That was my main label that I modeled for, Victoria's Secret. I did a little for Dior & Juicy Couture on the side but not nearly as much as I did for Vicky. I got lost in my train of thought when all the sudden, I was met with a brick wall smack in my face.

"Is she alright?"
"Does she look alright?"
"I don't know man!"
"Em. I'm. Not. A. Man!"
"Babe, chill you know I didn't mean it like that."
"HUSH."
I opened my eyes and saw before me Aphrodite herself. I know I was a model and all, but I had the lowest self confidence in the world. She looked like she belonged in my place, being a model. A bulkier man sat next to her guffawing while half of a soft pretzel hanging in his rather large mouth.
Pessimist & Optimist: A Pessimist looks at a glass half empty. An Optimist looks at a glass half full.
For some reason, these wise words came to my mind at the moment. I was definitely a pessimist. I wasn't one to say, "Look on the bright side." Blondie stared at me and Bulk man finished the rest of his soft pretzel. Some of the salt fell off onto my left ankle and to my disbelief he picked it up and ate it. He fucking ate it.
"Hi!" Bulk man shouted and waved like a five year old saying hi to his teacher.
"Err hi." I muttered at the awkwardness.
"Please excuse the giant over here. I'm Rosalie, Rosalie Hale." She stuck out her hand.
"I'm Isabella Swan. But you can call me Bella." I smiled carefully at her and shook her hand.
"I'm Emmett!"
"I can see that..." I muttered quietly as Rosalie helped me up.
"You took a pretty hard fall. You went smack into Emmett's chest." She stated matter-of-factly as I hugged my chest.
"WAIT!" Emmett shouted and took a picture out of his wallet.
"Are you – are you Isabella Angel?" he referred to my stage name. I nodded uneasily as he fucking bowed down to me.
"Oh my gosh!" Emmett cried as I walked down the cold street.
"Wait we should get you to a hospital! My brother he's a doctor. He could help you." Emmett shouted as I started to walk a little faster.
"That won't be necessary." I said quietly and ran away.
