Tapping his fingernails against the desk that aligns the back of 3-D's classroom, Yukimura Masamune, nicknamed Masa, stared off into space, ignoring the noises around him where his classmates of Akadou High School goofed around and just disregarded Yamaguchi Kumiko's roll call.
Without a moment's notice, Masa stood from his seat and sidestepped the incoming book that was intended to smack him across the face, flicking his unusual blue eyes toward the person who apparently accidentally let it slip from his hands. Honjo Kengo. An idiot friend of Kazama Ren and Ogata Yamato. It's true that Masa does not get along with any of the idiots residing in the class but he'd not let any of his classmates get beaten in a fight. He's not their friend. But he's not a heartless bastard. "Hey! Masamune! I was trying to get your attention-!" Honjo slammed his hands upon Masa's desk and grimaced at being ignored. "You bastard!
With a sigh, Masa sidestepped Honjo and slipped by with out bothering to glance back, hands in his pockets with his eyes trained on the floor. Noticing Yukimura walking toward her, Yankumi stared at the teenager with a surprised expression before speaking, "May I help you, Yukimura-kun?"
Coming to a stop in front of his teacher, he leans forward to whisper in her right ear with his eyes trained on the graffiti on the wall, "I know who you are, Ojou." With that said, Masa again sidestepped the teach and walked right on out of the classroom, not bothering on stopping even after Yankumi's stunned silence having been snapped out of and calling after him.
A few seconds or so passed without a sound from Yankumi or the other students, only for Ren to speak up, "Masamune must be in a bad mood or something.. huh."
Whispering under her breath, Yankumi's eyes glared at the doorway where Masa exited the classroom, "He couldn't know.. how?" Clapping her right hand upon her mouth, she grits her teeth and glanced over at her other students and clapped her hands, "Class is getting out early, guys. Have a good day and be safe!" Turning around to grab her lesson plans, Yankumi about faces the door and nearly leapt out the door only to be met by a foot being slammed against the sliding door. Glancing up at the owner of the foot, Yankumi's mouth turned into a frown and rose an eyebrow, "Yes, Kazama-kun?"
"You normally won't let us out of here without giving a huge speech about us not fighting and knowing the importance of blah, blah, blah. What's got you so.. uppity?" Ren stared at Yankumi for a good moment or two before thrusting his thumb at his comrades. "We all want to know. Share with the class, please."
Yankumi gave a nervous chuckle and rubbed the back of her neck with her free hand, shrugging her shoulders once before hunching forward, "Cramps.. ugh. I need to go to the bathroom..!"
At the sudden news that their teacher spouted, Ren backed away from the door and held his hands up, "Too much information."
Taking this as her cue to leave, Kumiko slipped out of the door and ran like a bat out of hell to go after Masamune, even though the rest of the students thought something completely different. "WE DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW THAT, YANKUMI."
"GROSS. EW."
"NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR ABOUT FROM MY TEACHER. EWW."
Etcetera, etcetera.
Groaning in pain, Masamune's opponent held his face in his hands after their little fist-fight and handed over all of the money that he had stolen off of the little old lady that Masamune had seen getting robbed from. Tsking, Masamune aimed a good ole kick to the guy's head to knock him out to wait for the police to arrive and stood up straight, turning around on his heel to go back to the old lady to return her money and goods. Holding out the items toward his elder, he knelt down in front of her and smiled a friendly smile. "You should definitely have a weapon hidden on you, ma'am. Or at least a taser of some sort."
Smiling the old woman held out a few dollars toward the teenager in thanks only for him to shake his head, "Keep it, ma'am. I was just passing by and saw it happen. The police are on their way, so if you don't mind to stay here and make sure that he's actually arrested, you'd be doing people a huge favour to not letting this happen to them. I need to go now, though. Have a good day and be safe." Standing up, the spiky haired teen nodded his head once and about face away from the older woman to start walking away without pausing to allow the appreciation and thanks. "Thank you, young man."
"See you around, ma'am." Giving a slight wave over his shoulder, he walked down the sidewalk a little ways before glancing down an alley way as if searching for something or someone. Sighing, Masamune shook his head and waltzed down the alley way to continue his search for a certain feline friend of his.
Hearing meowing coming from a drainpipe, Masamune grinned and squats down in front of it and held out his hands toward his feline friend. "C'mon, Cinnamon. I have treats for you, kitty kitty."
A little orange tabby's head popped out of the drainpipe and meowed once more, sniffing at the air as soon as Masamune pulled out the little baggy with the chicken bits and catnip treats inside before opening it and pouring some into his hand and held it out toward the feline. "Here ya go, kit. Eat until you're full."
"So, this is where you were hiding, Yukimura-kun."
Glancing over his shoulder, Masamune's eyes laid upon his teacher's face without much choice. "You were trailing me, huh? Creepy, don'tcha think, teach?" Turning his attention back to the orphan kitten that is still feeding, he smiled once before setting his face back to being neutral.
"I guess so but my curiosity got the best of me. Sorry." Clapping both hands together, Yankumi bowed her head in shame for a moment before glancing over his shoulder. "Aw. What a cute kitty. What's his name?"
"Her name is Cinnamon."
"Ooooh. A female cat. Oops." Yankumi grinned and rubbed the back of her neck.
"Why're you following me, anyway? Stalking me is considered a crime, you know. I'm sure you'd know all about that, huh? Crimes, I mean." Sassy Masamune mode activated.
Frowning, Yankumi leaned forward and whispered a soft, "How did you find out about me, Yukimura?"
"Dropping the 'kun', huh? You're cute when you're serious, Ojou."
"Answer me, Yukimura. How did you find out?" Yankumi's voice dropped down to a dangerous tone, glaring at the back of Masamune's head as if that'd do any harm to the teen.
"Seen you around the Oedo place a lot. Thought you were in trouble with the yakuza or something but when I heard you say, and I quote, 'I'm home' and your lackeys replying with, 'Welcome home, Ojou', it just clicked in my head. Guess you could say I'm just smart like that."
"Or too observant." Yankumi muttered under her breath and folds her arms across her chest.
"Ow. My ego, Ojou. That really hurt."
"Yankumi." The woman corrected her student with a grimace at being called Princess by her student. "My nickname you can use is Yankumi."
"But where's the fun in using that nickname when I can hopefully give your position away to the school and make you lose your job?" Masamune stood up after the feline finished eating and climbed into his arms to sleep, turning around to gaze into his teacher's eyes. "Calm down. I was just kidding. Havin' you around is kinda making me want to stay in school even though I really don't think I'm learnin' jack shit while being in that room with those idiots."
A/N: Just a little something, something to start off my fanfiction writing again. I've been on an Asian Drama bingewatch spree and I can't help but want to write to almost ALL of them. Should definitely expect a new story to 2 Moons the series and What the Duck the series sooner or later. Those two.. are soooo good. I can't.
