Author's Note: This one's for Rosie, who role-played Maura to my Alan, and led to great times in the Dunlath Orchard.
"Oh, Merciful Mother," Alan murmured, his eyes closed. He had never in all his fifteen years experience anything so gods-blessed incredible. "That was… unexpected."
Maura smirked, wiping off her mouth with the back of her sleeve. "I told you Dunlath has the best of everything to offer."
"Absolutely agreed."
"Would you like a second?"
He nodded. "Now that I've had one, I doubt I could ever refuse another. Please," he begged, " give me more."
She reached above him and plucked another two apples from the tree. "Only if you admit that they're the best fruit in all of Tortall."
