WTF # Jake and I were driving his old Rabbit when a bad accident happened to us.

The Day the Earth Stood Still

"Jake, watch where you're driving," I yelled, holding on for dear life.

He had turned on the radio as he was driving the old Rabbit. Yes he is a good driver but he couldn't do both at the same time. He looked at the radio, trying to find the station he was looking for. For a split second he didn't look at the road, and the car swerved onto the opposite side of the road. I tried to take the wheel so we wouldn't hit the tree or a car - but it was too late. A vehicle was coming from the other direction right toward us.

I started to panic, and so did Jake. I held on to him. He looked down at my hand. Why would this happen to me? As we looked at the car it was only a few feet from us. Jake tried to hurry to undo our belts but it was too late. The Volkswagen was right in our hood of the Rabbit.

Jake hit his head on the dashboard and his hand was smashed while my head hit the window and my arm that was on the steering wheel was killing me. The driver in the other car dialed for help. As I could make out she looked like Claire Young. Emily is going to be pissed at us.

Within a matter of minutes the ambulance were here getting us on the stretcher, getting our information and taking our vital signs before the paramedics wheeled us into the vehicles.

Around fifteen minutes later we were in the Emergency Room and the doctors and nurses were doing everything they could so I wouldn't have lose any parts of my body. It was a long time in there. I thought it was about four hours before they wheeled me into my room. I wanted to ask if I could see Jake, but I was on a lot of pain meds.

While I was resting my eyes I heard a male's voice. I woke up to see Sam standing there. He walked over to me and he was in tears. I knew in my gut that Jake didn't make it out of surgery, but I needed Sam to confirm it. He cleared his throat before he spoke.

"Renesmee, I have something to tell you, " he muttered out.

"What is it? It has to do with Jake, " I cried as I turned my head.

"Yes, I saw him before he passed - he did make it out but then he passed."

"Did he say anything before he died? " I asked sadly.

"Yes, he did - he told me he loves you and always will, and it's not goodbye it's till we meet again my love, " Sam answered as he gave me a hug.

I never had a proper goodbye. I started to cry harder. I knew one day I would see him again. I felt Sam's arms around me. I am glad that he was here for support. Sam whispered to me "I am here for you whenever you need me, and I know Emily would be there for you too even though her sister was injured." I mumbled back thank you and I am so sorry.

That's The Day the Earth Stood Still. My life will change after all of this happened to me.
