Wendy Darling sat perched on the window seat in a house that she felt was no longer her home. Her family had changed, her parents more strict and unforgiving at any burst of unladylike behaviour. There constant nagging at her dress sense and school work clung to Wendy like cobwebs that she could never brush off. Her Mother had once argued with her that she should be concentrating on looking good as Men's eyes were always on her when ever she entered a room at a party or function.

In truth Wendy had become even more beautiful if that could be possible. Her hair was a shimmering gold waterfall that fell down her back in small waves and her eyes sparkling diamonds as she looked out the window to the heavens above.

It had been a month now and yet Peter has still failed to return and every night Wendy was there by the window waiting for him and never giving up hope that he would return. But unlike the other nights this one would certainly be different.

"Oh Peter where are you" Wendy whispered to the window her breath on the breeze.

"Right here Wendy lady" a small echo was replied back.

That's not Peter it must have been my imagination Wendy faltered. She leant her head out the window to see the outside world when a muscular arm wrapped firmly round her waste while a hand covered her mouth before she could scream. Wendy twisted round to see her attacker when she came face to face with Peter who gently let her go.

"Peter"

"Wendy Lady"

"Oh Peter your back, I've missed you so much" Wendy threw her arms around Peter and hugged him tightly. His strong arms coming round to hug her in return. Wendy drew back slightly to look at him and saw that he hadn't changed a bit. His blond curls were windswept and unkempt. The tan on his skin still remained as boldly as ever and he was still adorned with green leaves as his feet were covered in mud. Her Peter was back.
