Alone.
Why was I always alone. Elsa didn't want anything to do with me. My parents were busy with running a kingdom and now the castle staff was diminishing for some reason. Where did everyone go?

"Miss Anna," Anna looked up at the maid who has just entered the room, "the ice harvesters are here." My face lit up at the mention of this. The ice harvesters always brought back amazing stories of their journeys. Anna ran past the maid and through the big doors that lead out into the courtyard. She almost slipped on the frost that covered the floor, but somehow managed to stay up right. Kai was already there, greeting the harvesters as they pulled up along with the sleigh full of ice.

"How was your journey?" Kai asked them as pulled out a pouch and handed it to the man.

"Same as usual," one of the men said, "cold and hash."

"Yeah," another said, "possibly the coldest so far. Almost lost a cart if it wasn't for this guy her." That's when Anna noticed their extra companies. She looked to where the men was pointing to and saw a boy around her age, maybe older, feeding a reindeer a carrot. He looked up when he felt the men talking about him and found Anna's eyes. She gave him a small smile and a wave. He turned away, clearly shy, and began to pet his reindeer.

"Oh my," Kai said, "isn't he a bit young?"

"Eh probably, but we can't keep him off the ice," the guy responded. Anna walked over the the boy as the men continued talking.

"Is that yours?" Anna asked.

"He is," the boy said while glancing at Anna.

"Can I pet him?" Anna asked.

"I suppose so…" the boy answered. Anna reached out her hand to pet the reindeer who responded by licking it.

"He's so cute," Anna said with a giggle.

"Miss Anna, it's time to go back inside," Kai said.

"Okay," Anna said. She was about to run back into the place when she remember her manners. Turning back to the boy she did a small curtsy, "thank you for letting me pet your reindeer." As Anna came back up from her curtsy she saw the boy looked a little shocked, but then it was gone.

"Um...you're welcome Princess Anna," the boy said with an awkward bow.

"Goodbye...um…" Anna tried to say but realizing she didn't know his name.

"Kristoff," the boy mumbled a bit embarrassed. Anna didn't hear his full answer so she took a guess.

"Goodbye Kristopher," she yelled as she ran back into the castle completing ignoring his correction.
