Once apon a time the world messed up.
We all went to war.
we all lost.
we always do, in the end.
anyway, it wasn't just us who were fighting.
our wartime awoke the ancient monsters, from the nightosphere.
they too, joined the war.
scientists made a new land for refugees, called lumpy space, as most mutants were floating lump monsters.
in time, scientists also learned 2 things:
1. a meteor was coming. it was landing near asia, calculated to blow up a quater of the world.
2. One of the only substances surviving was candy.
so, with promise of a new land, we created a new life- candy people.
we created a perfect ruler, too. she was beautiful.
eventually, the nightospherians killed of humanity- exept for one small group.
consisting of an atiques professor, a human couple, the candy princess (project bonnibel, nicknamed bubblegum), and- would you believe it?- the daughter of the lord of evil.
she looked corrupted, yet still looked the most innocent out of us.
the antique professor wanted to let dear old marceline live another day, and he wanted the whole group to survive.
so maybe one day, he would find his dear princess.
sadly, he did, but didn't recognise her. she was a doctor now, you see.
so, he froze the group, along with himself (the group being Marceline, bubblegum, himself, and the late couple's offspring. he decided to name them finn, fionna, and susan.)
a cat and dog tagged along, too. they were mutated, as they could talk and stretch.
so they froze, and woke up in a new land.
the baby boy, finn, said his first world. "Ooo!" he cried happily.
Simon deposited them in different locations: Princess bubblegum in her new kingdom, Susan underground, Marceline back in the nightosphere, and finn and the dog in a treehouse.
fionna and the cat were accidentally transported to a parallel land.
eventually, The dog's parents (who miraculously survived) would find the boy and dog, and raise them as their own.
Marceline, with hopes of re-uniting with her father, was bitterly dissappointed.
Susan lived her whole live not knowing the truth, of who she was- and where she came from.
bonnibel took her new duty with great skill, and became a great leader.
finn and jake would become the land's heroes.
fionna and cake, likewise. someday the twins may meet.
and simon? simon lost his dear old mind. maybe someday he might remember, but not now.
but remember this-
it may of took 1000 years, it may of took a war, it may of took the destruction of an ancient civilisation. but we were re-born.
and it was totally rhombus.
