In my village I was popular. Maybe it was because I looked simialer to the legendary hero, Steve. Maybe it was because I was pretty much the only guy who wasn't only interested in one thing, like mining, lumbering, smelting, crafting, building, etc... My village wasn't in any of the three kingdoms (Emperia, Vallahnda and Defrendia) , though we were closer to Emperia than the others. One day, I was helping Ognar, the village's resident Blacksmith, to craft some new swords for the Warrior, when we heard a stedy thumping sound. As if a large group of people were all taking steps at the same time. Next thing I knew, Emperia soldiers came over the hill, saw our village and attacked. They slaughtered the men and kidnapepd teh women and children. I happened to be in the Blackmith's cellar, so they didn't see me. Feeling an intense rage building up within me, I grabbed one of the swords we had crafted and charged in. I think I managed to kill seven or eight, before I felt something shatter onto my back. I felt liquid seep into my flesh, and before I knew it, I dropped to the ground, blackness covering my vision. I awoke and felt a lot of blood seeping from the stab wounds that ahd been inflicted on me by the Emperia Soldiers' swords. I crawled into the Alchemist's tower and found a Potion of Healing. But I knew it was too late. I was as good as dead. I let it roll around on the floor as the last of my life force left my body.
"Hello? Are you okay?" I heard a femenine voice asking. I was in a soft bed, as far as I could tell without opening my eyes. "I don't think he's awake yet..." said another voice. That one I couldn't tell the gender of without looking. "No, he's got to be! I saw his eyes open for a sec, before closing when the floor squeeked!" said a voice that sounded like a childs. Maybe a small girl? I groaned as I rolled off my side, feeling pain everywhere that I had been cut. I could feel at least six pairs of eyes staring at me. "Told yah!" said the child. My eyes opened, despite my brain saying not to look, due to the sun filtering through an above window. Looking at me was a small, red haired girl in a green hoodie with a frog hat, a man in an orange and blue shirt, with brown hair and an older woman, wearinga pink shirt and some blue pants, with also brown hair. "Um..." I began.
