Karin
Part 1
Karin tried not to cry as she buried her head in her pillow. Trying to ignore the ache behind her teeth, her vampiric teeth. She had been hiding from her family for the past weeks, ignoring the yells for her to open the door, to 'talk' to them. Karin stifled her sobs as she thought of her family, she knew what they were planning to do. They were going to erase all memories related to vampires. No matter what 'good' intention was behind it, she couldn't help but feel her heart breaking under the pressure of losing all memories of her loved ones. Knock. Knock. 'Karin?' Karin hissed into her pillow as she heard her brother's voice. Glaring at the door, she allowed it to unlock. Ren, her older brother, walked in surprised that she actually let him in, slight confusion in his eyes as he realized that she was lying on the bed, how did she open the door? Ren sat next to his sister just memorizing her face.
Ren couldn't believe it. His parents had told him to wipe his little sister's memory. Ren loved his sisters, both Anju and Karin. He couldn't stand the fact that his parents were cowards and couldnt do this awful act themselves. Ren bit his lip and brushed some hair out of his sister's face. Deep in thoughts, he didn't notice the angry look on Karin's face. Karin tackled her brother around the waist, throwing up a secret barrier that prevented sounds from going out. Ren looked down in surprise as Karin tightened her arms around his waist, "Ple...Please don't do it...Re'nii..." Ren stilled at the nickname that he hadn't heard since Karin was a fledgling, back before Karin awakened. "So you know?" "mmhmm." Karin sniffled as she buried her face into her brother's side. "I dont hate you, no matter how i acted." "T-then please...lie to them! i dont want to forget you. please onii-sama!" karin Clenched her hands, digging her nails into her palms. Ren hunched over her protectively. "okay...okay...can you pretend?" "yes...can you put me to sleep?" Ren Nodded, "Love you, 'Rin."
Ren removed his hand from Karin's eyes, disliking the fact that this would probably mean they would never see each other again.
