Marinette mumbled some unintelligible complaints under her breath, irritated with someone disturbing her slumber.

She stayed up all night studying for the literature exam they had written that day after putting it off to fight akumas.

Sadly, school was one the few times she got to sleep peacefully more or less. Although, an ultimate downside was that she got less time to stare at Adrien but her state of half-consciousness allowed her to not care.

"You know what fine, sleep at school but if some creepy thing sneaks in here at night, don't say I didn't try."

Marinette vaguely heard the shuffling and shifting as her friend packed up to leave school. Not that she knew that.

It was finally quiet and she sighed at the peacefulness and fell back into sleep.

When Marinette stirred again it was dark and she was in her bedroom. She didn't even remember leaving school and that scared her even more than the thought of staying at school over night.

She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and sat up. The quiet whirl of her chair brought her attention to the spinning figure sitting in her chair.

She quietly gasped, "C-Chat Noir?" she asked confused.

He looked up at her, happy that she was finally awake. With a smile bright enough to light up the dark moon he said, "Oh, great you're up."

"How did I get home? How long have you been in my bedroom? What time is it?"

He cocked his head to the side and studied his classmate, "It's midnight, I've been here for four hours, and I brought you home after you fell asleep at school."

She looked into his illuminated green eyes, "Why'd you stay here?"

He looked into her eyes. "I didn't wanna go back home, yet."

Silence fell over the room.

She didn't know what to say. Her black cat had always been a sweetheart with bad puns and a flirty lilt to his voice but this surprised her. This was Marinette not Ladybug. But it surprised her to hear that he didn't have the happiest home life.

"Oh," she finally said.

"You look like you're thinking really hard about something, Princess," he said.

"Why do you call me that?"

It was a very obvious change of the topic but he shrugged it off as nerves.

"Because, I think you deserve to be treated like a princess."

"You say things like that but do you mean them?"

His eyes blazed a green fire, "Every word, Sleeping beauty."

She flushed a deep red.

"But I wasn't kissed awake."

"Maybe you're not awake, maybe I should kiss you."

He stood up and lazily strolled towards her chaise and leaned in close. His lips a breath away from hers.

"Princess, I could kiss you back to life. I could kiss you senseless and breathless. I'll be on your mind all day, for the rest of your life."

Marinette's mouth dropped open. Before she knew it, his lips were pressed to hers. Passionate and certain. He trailed kisses down her neck, leaving a bright red love bite.

She wanted to pull away but she didn't, she couldn't, she kissed him back. Kissed him until his Miraculous was beeping for it to end.

"Chaton," she whispered lightly.

"I need to go Princess, but keep your eyes peeled. I may be closer than you think."

He crawled out of her skylight before she could say anything more.

Marinette didn't sleep very peacefully because kiss her senseless he did.

This is the second ending for sleeping beauty but i love it so much that im to make a part two for this alternate ending
