Reasons to believe Arya was in love with Faolin (the guy that died in Durza's attack, he was her guard): ALL OF THEM. Firstly, when she tells Eragon how they died in Durza's attack -the Urgals' arrows- she was like, 'Yeah and Glenwing was hit by an arrow and then Faolin... Faolin... -sob-' . Later, as she was with Eragon in that garden of flowers or whatever it was, she was like, 'Yeah, like, Faolin gave me, like, a GARDEN with flowers and you, like, only saved, like, my stinking life?' And then when Eragon goes into her room - pervert! - and describes a fairth of the King Ceranthor -I think- there is another fairth of "an elf he did not know." DUH. Arya is so angsty. If you have read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, when Hermione describes how Cho feels about Harry ('Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have!') that is how Arya feels for Eragon, from my POV, of course.
Excpet without all the sexyness Faolin possessed.

PS: Eragon's poem sucked. I'm serious. It was as if he were SHOUTING at the elves, "HEY LIKE, DURZA SCREWED ME UP MY SEXY BACK AND, LIKE, I'M GONNA NEED YEARS OF COUNSELING." Not that I am Shakespeare, of course.
