Chapter 1: Stuck In-between
Kagome was shifting through her bag at Kaede's hut. They had just returned from another shard hunt and she was trying to see if she needed to restock before they left again. She was finding the answer to that question to be a definite yes.
"Well wench, do you have enough or do you need to return to your own time for more? Well? Are you going to answer me or not!" cried Inuyasha. He wasn't in a good mood, as usual and they had been gone for quit a while this time so he knew that she was probably going to have to return to her home. This would have aggravated him more... IF he didn't have a plan. 'This time she won't be able to get away so easily because this time I'm going with her!' He thought as he impatiently waited for Kagome's answer.
"Yes, Inuyasha, I'm going to have to go back to my time to restock supplies. Now will you leave me alone long enough for me to figure out how much of what I need to bring back?" She asked as she was getting closer and closer to just sitting him for aggravating her.
"Feh." was Inuyasha's only reply.
Two Hours Later
"Okay! I'm ready to go and I know what I need to get!" Cried Kagome as she finished rummaging through her backpack.
"About time! Now let's get a move on, it's almost dark and I don't want to have to bother with any weak demons tonight!" Replied Inuyasha as he stood up.
Kagome, who was in a much better mood after having Inuyasha being quiet for so long, took no notice of his rudeness and stood as well with her pack on her shoulders. They both waved goodbye to they're friends as they headed of towards the well. Neither of them expected the... trouble that would soon be headed their way. However, A certain some one in a nearby tree knew everything that would happen to them and had no doubt that they would all find the results of said...trouble...interesting, to say the least.
