Hi. My first story. Hope you like it.

Chapter 1: The Crowning Ceremony

She woke up while the ice was sparkling. Her eyes were like two amethyst. It was a cold morning just how she likes it.

Her name was Winter the Wolf. The princess of the Ice Kingdom. Winter changed her gown from a nightgown to a beautiful light blue gown. Then placed her tiara on her head. She really did look like a princess.

Winter went down the stairs but hopping on them step by step. Her lady in waiting did not approved. "Walk down the stairs like a proper lady", she said. Winter walked down the stairs but with a frown on her face.

"I don't want you to get hurt", said the lady in waiting. "I know you don't Mary", replied the princess.

"Don't forget that today is a big day.", said Mary. She was right, the princess will no longer be a princess anymore. She was about to become queen.

"Now, remember to control your powers.", said Mary. Winter was born with ice powers. Her parents helped her with controlling her powers. But since her parents died when she was twelve, she had to control her powers herself.

Only a few more hours and she will become a queen. "I can't I'm going to be queen at age fourteen. This is such a young age.", said the princess.

Time already passed and it was time for her Crowning Ceremony. Winter is very excited but nervous. After the speeches she had to hold a scepter. When she hold it the scepter it started to freeze.

Everyone was wondering how it froze. One villager cried out "she is a witch!" He was walking up to the princess and tried to grab her. Winter was scared and used her powers and frozen the innocent villager.

Everyone started to scream and run away. Winter started to run away from the village. She ran into the winter woods. She started to cry because she knew that everyone will try to get after her.

Few hours passed and she was walking through deep snow. Then she finds a portal. She was wondering what would happen if she goes in. She would leave Mary, her kingdom, and her friends. She started to walk in.
