Teddy Bear
Disclaimer: NOT MINE!!! I do not own Gilmore Girls (Thank God, that show has gone down the tubes)
Rory cuddled.
While she was sleeping, she needed someone to act as her giant teddy bear.
That's how she decided if someone was truly right for her, if they made a perfect Teddy Bear.
Mind and body.
All her guys had been put to the test.
Dean was a good sized Teddy Bear, a little tall, but all aroound okay. He however was way to soft. She never liked things to soft.
Jess was also a pretty good sized Teddy Bear, but he was to stiff. Cuddling with cardboard was not exactly the easiest task. Cardboard doesn't exactly cuddle back, either.
Logan was a great Teddy Bear. Totally comfortable. But when ever she needed him, Teddy Bear Logan was not around. She know he did tried, and for that he got brownie points, but he wsn't stable enough for her.
She had met (or re-met, as the case is) her current Teddy Bear in a book store.
She was reading a book she had just bought.
He was flirting with the sales lady.
He had spotted her, and threw the cheesiest pick upi line he could think of out there:
"If I could rearrange the alpahabet, I'd out U and I together."
She had looked up ready to poliely decline his, umm, offer, until she saw who it was.
They had been dating ever since.
Rory wrapped her arms around the sleeping figure next to her even tighter, and smirked.
This Teddy Bear was a keeper.
He was soft, but still a manly Teddy Bear, you know? He was always there, because he wanted to be. Not at all flimsy.
He was totally perfect!
God, she really did luck out.
"Hey Mare. You still up?" Her Teddy Bear asked, or, mumbled actually.
"Maybe just a little," Rory said, smiling up at him.
"Why?" He asked back, incredulously.
"Just thinking about you, Tristan. Go back to bed," She answered, knowing he was exhausted.
Tristan Dugrey was the perfect Teddy Bear.
