Trust Issues

Hello. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Maka Albarn. I am 15 and live in Death City and attend Shibusen High School. I'm not the most popular girl here, okay scratch that, I'm not popular at all. I'm called a bookworm, loser, dork, and many other names. People say I'm a loner, but there's just no one to trust to let them in. Most of my trust issues come from my womanizing, son of a bitch, father. He always lies and says he'll stop. He doesn't, so I've completely shut him out. I now live on my own. The only reason I see him is so he can pay my rent. I have a job, but it's only enough money for food and clothes. So we've come to an agreement. I hang out with him twice a week and he pays for my apartment. I'm surprised he is still able to keep the job as the vice principle of my school. I'm also not the nicest person in the world. I tend to fight way too much. I mean, I win them, but the guidance counselor doesn't think so. Mrs. Marie just thinks fights ruin lives, I think they toughen you up.

So here I am, walking down the hallway to my class. I hear yelling from inside. I open the door and the room goes silent, except for all the little whispers. (Which I can hear perfectly cause I have great hearing) I hear some girl with short hair whisper to a long brown haired girl, "Oh my god, she is such a pathetic loser!" the other girl nodded in approval. She said something else and they both laughed. I was infuriated right now. I stomped right over there, grab the pink haired girl by her collar and yanked her up. She squealed in surprise as it happened.

"If you have something to say, say it to my face bitch!" I spat out. That earned a few 'oooooohs' from everybody else in there. She frantically nodded in fear and I slammed her down. I quickly gathered my composure and walked to my seat that was seated near a window in the very back of the room. I liked my seat. I sat there all day and looked out the window, wishing I was somewhere else. As I was thinking about new places to move the teacher, Dr. Stein, announced that there was a new student. I looked to the front of the room to see a strange sight before me. There stood a boy with platinum white hair, red eyes, and his weirdest feature, his razor sharp teeth. All the girls were giving him yelps of approval and he just smirked. I scoffed and looked out the window. Lost in thought how all men were the same. I heard the teacher laugh and make a comment. I listened closely about him.

"Everybody this is Soul Eater Evans. He's moving here from Britain."

All of the girls in the classroom erupted into a wave of applauses. Him being the cocky dick he was, he bowed like a gentlemen and the applauses got louder. I just got angered by the noise and popped my ear buds in and turning the volume all the way up. As I was listening to Innocent High by Blood on the Dance Floor I felt something tap my shoulder. I turned around to see no other than the new kid. I looked up with an annoyed glance.

"What do you want?" I snapped

"Don't have to be rude," He threw up his hands in defense." I would just like to know the name of who's going to be my new seat-mate for the year" he finished with a smirk.

"MAKKKAAAA-CHOOOPPPP"

"What the fuck was that about!?" He yelled as he gripped the huge red bump on his head.

"Oh, I'm Maka Albarn," I said with a sarcastic smile offering my hand to him, "And one thing to know, don't ever fuck with me!"
