Finally...
The Snow Monster ran as fast as she could away from the Beta Kindergarten and away from that orange-striped soldier Gem.
Beat your enemies? The Snow Monster scoffed. I'd rather beat you into the ground, you little... The orange one had viciously ripped the creature's gem out of her body, trapped her in a cage, and then had the gall to call her a disgrace? Worse yet, her tormenter had forced the animal to fuse with her. She shook her head and sighed. She couldn't worry about revenge. If she did, she would surely be captured again.
The Snow Monster suddenly stopped, gasping as she saw a pack of creatures similar to her. She snarled in greeting, and her friends jumped away. The orange, camouflage-patterned one gave a surprised, questioning grunt. The blue one roared in response. The Orange Great North Monster ran towards her, and the two creatures rubbed their heads together in a primal embrace.
A brown one with Triceratops-like horns grunted, getting the two friends' attention. She grunted again, flicking her head in the other direction as a signal to get moving. The Snow Monster and the Orange Great North Monster looked at each other and decided to finish catching up later. They ran after the brown one, the rest of the pack following as they finished their escape from Jasper.
I just read a few chapters of a really well-written fic and decided to practice my own writing. What do you think? Please leave a review! :)
