Maria was basically an ordinary little girl, with a few very noticable excetpions. She wasnt popular and wasnt rich and didn't care, in fact she was proud of what she was and had been for the entire ten years of her life. All that matered to her was her family, her friends, and vampires, in which she deeply believed. Anything else she seemed to care about was merely an act so that she wouldnt be seen as a complete freak. Not that what others thought mattered to her.
One day Maria and a girl called Lisa, who also happened to be the most extreme example of a bitch humanly imaginable, got into a huge argument. It was about vampires. Lisa, in an attempt to crush any hope of happiness Maria had told her that there was no such thing as vampires. But the last thing it did to Maria was crush her, she knew deep in the pit of her soul that they did exist. They were out there somewhere. Maria could feel it. And that is how it started.
This first chapter was kind of short, but basically it was just setting the mood.Well thats all for now. I hope you liked it and I will get around to writing more soon. And remember, vampires ARE real. -Emma-
