Disclaimer: I own none of these characters (other than my nameless police officers) nor do I own the show
Also, this is my first Green Hornet story so I'm sorry if anyone is not as they should be. I tried to make this funny. I'm not real good at that. Also my first attempt at a dialogue only fic.
Interview 1:
"Mr...Axford, was it? If you could just tell me what you saw tonight, we'll both be on our ways."
"What I saw?! What I saw was an innocent man being framed! Why, back in my day when Mr. Reid's father ran this newspaper, something like this would never have happened! He never would've stood for it!"
"Um, I'm, sorry to hear that, sir."
"I don't want your pity, young man."
"I'm sorry, sir. Are you...writing this down?"
"Of course I'm writing this down. I'm a reporter, you expect me to just sit and do nothing?"
"You know what? Would you like to talk to my Seargant?"
"Why, yes, I would. He'll be sure to have a proper story for me."
"I'm glad, sir."
Interview 2:
"That's Ms. Case, sir. And I'll have you know that I think that it's absolutely wrong to be interviewing me about Mr. Reid when you should be out there trying to catch the real killer."
"So you don't think that it was your boss that killed that man?"
"Of course not!"
"Then how do you explain a room full of witnesses, including yourself, who saw the gun in Britt Reid's hand go off?"
"He was framed. Obviously. Honestly, what are they teaching you at that academy these days?"
"Apparently not enough, ma'am. Not enough."
Interview 3:
"So, your name is Kato? First or last?"
"Yes."
"Um. Well, okay, fair enough. Do you work for Britt Reid?"
"Yes."
"Well, can you tell me what you saw during the event of the firing of the gun?"
"The gun fire. The man die."
"Oh. Well, I was hoping you would be more specific."
"I no speak English good."
"Well, with all due respect, sir, I saw you speaking with Ms. Case earlier. You seemed quite articulate then."
"5:30."
"No, that's not- wait, that's not even what time it is right now."
"Down the hall and to the right."
"What? Look, I just want to take your statement."
"My English not good."
"Well, yes, you said that-"
"I go to garage now. Many thing to do. Very busy. Goodbye."
"Wait, I still need to- nevermind, I guess."
"So, officer. Am I to understand that you're quitting?"
"Yes, sir. I just can't handle it any more."
"Well, it's a shame. We'll all miss you around here."
"Thank you sir. You know-"
"Holy smokes, is that the Green Hornet?"
"Looks like it, sir. Damn, looks like he's breaking out a prisoner or something."
"...You know, quitting might not be so bad."
