A Dance with Roselia and Drew
Roselia liked music. Usually, it was the sweet, gentle sort that she could dance to. But it was also fun to let loose once in a while. Or work out her frustrations with the same sort of faster, wilder beat.
It was the same for her trainer. He liked things soft and calm and controllable in most cases too – and perfect. But sometimes he needed those wild winds, those crashing syllables.
Sometimes he needed things to go so fast his mind couldn't keep up – and she was the same. In those sorts of battles that reduced her to her most basic instincts and demanded everything more. Even if it was hard to follow and so unlike either of them, it was exhilarating. Fun. And when neither of them wanted to focus on calm and perfection, that sort of music was perfect as well.
And then when the world begun to spin normally again they could dance to the slower, more controlled tunes like they so loved.
