Buffy looked at Jenny Calendar and smirked time to fuck with her. "How's it going?" Buffy asked in Romani.

The shocked express on her Computer Teacher's face was priceless. "Relax I won't tell Giles. Just a heads up if the curse breaks. Work on it at home so Angelus can't have easy access to you." Buffy smirked still in Romani.

As she walked away Jenny mind reeled. How did Buffy know that she was a member of the clan that had cursed Angelus, and when did she learn Romani.

"She lied to us." Giles glared at Jenna.

"If she had told the truth, do you think she'd have been able to keep an eye on Angelus?" Buffy snapped.

"Yes I do. As for how Angel lost his soul." Giles glared at Buffy.

"I didn't sleep with him… what a release clause on the soul said a moment of true happiness. So doing the deed with a virgin out of love and not for money would have broken the curse." Buffy glared at Giles.

"You're denying it… so you did do it." Xander butted in.

Buffy sighed; she had to let part of her past out, "No… look you all think Joyce is my mom she's not. My real mom was killed by a vampire when I was eight."

Giles move to comfort his Slayer, "Good Lord. Buffy I had no idea."

"Only five people other than me knew that." Buffy moved away from Giles, "So next time you accuse me of being into necrophilia, I won't be so nice in my response."

Buffy looked at Faith. Good thing she had managed to get her background otherwise she won't have seen past the mask. "Faith, you need to honest with me."

"I am being honest with ya B." Faith snapped back.

"Not about why you're here. It's not because your watcher is at a retreat, it's because Kakistos killed her." Buffy crossed her arms.

"How…"

"Let's just say I have connects with hunters."

"The Council…"

"Doesn't know shit about me. Hell if it weren't for the hunters, I'd have died like the Council wanted me to be." Buffy smirked.

"They tried to kill you?" Faith looked horrified.

"Yeah, figure that's why they told Lothos about me. My first watcher committed suicide to keep from turning. Also probably why they told Kakistos about you. Both you and you're watcher are expendable." Buffy gritted her teeth.

"Yet you still work for them." Faith said beginning to get out of her stupor.

"No, I work with them, not for them. There's a big difference."

"I don't see it."

"The Council is blind Faith. I don't see all demons as threats. Hell one in LA ones a karaoke bar that King loves."

"King?" Faith asked.

"One of my mentor's." Buffy shrugged.

Giles looked at Buffy new appearance ever since the Cruciamentum. She had stopped dyeing her hair blonde, and carried a gun with her on patrols. Both Xander and Willow had asked him about this sudden personality change.

"I've killed five vampires under controlled circumstances." Wesley said smugly.

"That's like saying you lost your virginity by masturbating." A voice from the shelf deadpanned. Shocking everyone but Buffy. Faith noticed Buffy had just rolled her eyes. If she had said something like that, Buffy would have been all over her.
