Prologue
A woman ran down the darkened path, her heart beating violently against her chest in fear. She would look back to see if that... That, THING, was chasing after her, but she feared that if she did, it would cause her to trip over something on the forest floor, for their was no light to light the way. The moon, which was full, could not even brighten the path, for the branches of the trees cover the sky from sight.
"Oh-Oh God, please! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?" she began to scream, hoping that somebody would come to her rescue. She kept on calling out, but her throat was beginning to go raw from all the yelling she was doing, and her breath was shortening from all the running. Without a second thought, she turn her head to look behind her, and saw nothing but thick, white mist. Guessing she had lost that monster, she stopped, leaning against a tree for support. She panted heavily, hacking and coughing, not noticing that there was tall, slender being standing right behind her.
"Oh, I, huuu, lost- GAHCK!" she gagged, bloody splurting from out of her mouth and to the ground. A black tentacle was pierced right through her chest, and slowly withdrew itself from out of the fatal injury. Slowly turning her head as she fell towards the ground, she could see a dark figure in a fancy black suit, but when she looked up towards his head, all she saw was a blank face. No no eyes, no mouth, not even hair. She wanted to sceam, so badly did she want to scream, but before she could, she felt another stab in her stomach. All she could see was black, either from falling face first into the ground, or she had just died. Well, it was clear that she had offically died, because she didn't breathe, didn't move, or do anything else.
Her face was frozen with terror, but it really didn't matter to the being behind her, who's tentacles retracted back into its body. Bending down, it lifted the bloody corpse off the ground, and began to carry it off into the mist ahead, where it seemed to vanish.
Hello, iKawaiiAshiteru speakingu~! *(´ヮ`)~* Anyway, this is a story based off of an urban legend that my class was learning about, and it gave me the idea to write about it. Of course, this is just a prologue, so that's why I put it in italics. If I get any good reveiws, I will continue the story! Also, if you want to put a character in the story, I will be accepting 15 people ^^! All you have to fill out is this:
