Shedinja vs. Shedinja
He waited at the edge of Viridian Forest like always. 'Battle me,' he would say, to any person who passed with a pokemon in hand. With bug types, he would battle: a Butterfeee and a Pinser and a Yanmega and a Shedinja. Strong, all of them. Often they were beginners from Pallet or Viridian who quickly lost.
Mostly they were stronger. With an array of Pokemon he would never see in the wild without leaving home. Often they used fire types, though he had built up strong defences to them. Sometimes they'd use less effective but no less strong ones.
But then one day someone sent out a Shedinja against his own, and he was reminded of when he was still a novice Samurai – when an Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town had sent out a Metapod against his.
Shedinja at least could use more attacks than just Harden.
