Hello everyone. This is my first Ever After High fic so go easy on me okay. This is just a little Daring and Dexter fluff that I thought of. I'm surprised there aren't more fics of these two just being brothers. Anyways enjoy. =)

The Charming brothers were walking through the enchanted forest by the school. Dexter looked over to his older brother and saw Daring just looking off into space. He'd never seen his brother so zoned out before. Dexter decided to wake Daring before he walked into a tree or something equally hard.
"Hey Daring, are you alright bro? Did something happen?" Daring jumped a little at his brother's voice.
"Oh Dex, yeah everything's fine." Dexter raised a brow at this. Daring is a terrible liar and everyone knows it. Why would Daring be keeping secrets from him?
"Come on Daring you know I don't believe that. Something's up so just spill it already." Daring sighed and sat down on the ground by an old pine tree. Dexter sat next to him.
Daring put his chin in his hand and sighed again. Dexter got even more confused. Daring had never been this down about anything before. The brothers shared a look for a while before Daring finally broke the unnatural silence.
"Look Dex, if I tell you the truth will you promise to keep it to yourself?"
"That depends on what it is man."
"Okay fair enough. Alright the thing is…..Sparrow challenged me to a dare that I couldn't charm the next girl that walked into the café."
"So what's the big problem?"
"I'm getting to that. So the next girl to walk in was Lizzie Hearts. Sparrow thought he'd won automatically because Lizzie's not really into romantic stuff."
"I'm still not seeing what the problem Is Daring."
"Let me finish and you will."
"Right, sorry."
"Anyway I tried all day to charm her, but she wouldn't have any of it. None of my usual methods worked on her. So I finally pulled out the big guns and took Lizzie on a dragon ride."
"So you're upset because she doesn't like you?"
"No Dex, I'm upset because she does like me."
"Um, I don't follow."
"When we got up to the balcony Lizzie told me she'd started having real feelings for me, but she felt like she couldn't act on them because I'm supposed to be promised to Apple."
"Oh I think I'm starting to see what's happening here."
"But Dexter I…..I've started liking her as well."
"You have?"
"Yes I have. She's just so different from Apple or any of the other princesses. She's so much more than she lets people know. I want to get to know that part of her. However, if I want to get to know Lizzie that means I'd have to brake things off with Apple."
"But you and Apple aren't even dating."
"No, but we are promised to each other. Honestly Dexter I could never see myself marrying Apple. I know I'm egotistic but she's down right selfish."
"So you don't want to be with Apple at all."
"That's the gist of it. What should I do Dex? I don't want to hurt Apple, but I don't want to be stuck with someone I don't love forever after."
"Seriously Daring just go with your heart. If you like Lizzie than be with her. Apple will understand."
"You really think so Dexter?"
"Yeah I do. Trust my bro it'll be just fine."
"But won't that mean I'm going to be a rebel now?"
"What's so wrong with that?"
"…Yeah you're right. Okay I'll do it."
And with that the brothers headed in the direction of the school to hatch Daring's plan. Unaware that a curtain blonde blogger captured and live streamed the whole thing.
