A/N: Thanks a lot to those who voted, I'm honestly glad you guys voted yes as the plot itself is pretty exciting and I can't wait to see what comes of it! This is just a little starter to the story, not much of a chapter so I will write the first actual chapter very very soon. As of chapter intervals I decided they would be within the week so you will see chapter 2 next Wednesday. Hope you like this little starter! ❤️
Disclaimer: I own none of Zootopia characters other than the ones I created.
"No I can't come home tonight I have a load of paperwork to do." Chief Bogo rubbed his temple attempting to relieve stress but ultimately failing.
"You never spend time with me anymore, it's like I don't even exist!" His wife was on the other line and she seemed less upset and worried like she usually was about him working too much, instead she sounded very angry.
"I'm sorry but this is very important and-" She cut him off.
"NO! IF YOUR WORK IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ME THEN WHY DON'T WE JUST GET A DIVORCE" She screamed through the telephone.
Her voice rang in his ears, at that moment in time she had said the one word he had wished he would never have to hear. He didn't say a word.
After about 30 seconds of silence she finally spoke up.
"We will talk when you get home."

She had hung up the phone. He was glad the conversation was over but at the same time he dreaded coming home with his wife as angry as she seemed.
Tomorrow's another day. He thought.
He set his mind back to paperwork and continued to look over reports.
Meanwhile...
Judy flew up the steps trying to hold onto the reports her and Nick had for the day.
There was a robbery and the raccoon ran into a brick wall breaking his nose, that meant a lot of paperwork seeing as her and Nick were the ones who chased him down.
Everyone had already submitted their papers so when she went to put it in the reports folder it was already empty.
Her heart dropped.
It being empty meant chief was already looking through the reports and she had to get to him as fast as possible, or they would definitely get scolded in the morning.
She made it up to the top of the steps when she heard faint talking.
She knew She shouldn't have listened but her curiosity got the better of her.
She was able to hear the talking through the phone due to her large ears, and the female voice she heard through the phone sounded stern.
She listened to the conversation and she had no idea who he was talking too until she heard the words "divorce" loud and clear.
For the first time she actually felt bad for Chief.
After she heard him slam his phone down she changed her mind about the paperwork. She would give it to him in the morning even if it meant being yelled at.
He needed to be alone, that was for sure.
