This fic was inspired by the Narnia movie at the end, where Eustace said he was sad to see Lucy and Edmund leave

DISCLAIMER: I'm stupid and don't have much money

It was a few minutes before Eustace's cousin's Edmund and Lucy Pevensie had to leave. When they first came , he was resentful but he experienced Aslan while in Narnia and changed. He didn't want them to leave. He nervously stuck his hands in his pockets, as they waited for Peter to pick them up. What will Peter think? Will he believe I've changed?

He jumped, when he felt an arm on him and turned to see it was Lucy. Giving him a look of compassion, she asked, "Are you okay, Eustace?"

He shook his head. "Remember how I cried when we left Narnia and Caspian and when Reepicheep left?"

He felt her touch his short, blonde hair gently. "I remember we all did. I'm going to miss Narnia."

Eustace asked, "What do you think He meant when he said, 'You will find me in your world'?"

Lucy seemed to think. "I am not a hundred percent sure just yet. He probably meant Jesus, but with the way some people at church act… I mean I have been baptized (immersed) for the forgiveness of sins and gift of Holy Spirit as preached in Acts 2:38 and so has Edmund. So I know what Jesus did, that He died for us and rose from the dead, so has Edmund. We just need to learn him more in our World to really get to know Him, I guess."

Eustace had never been at a church. Alberta –oops, Mum- never went and thought Christians were crazy. Harold-oops, Dad was almost never around or ignored him. "Maybe I could come with you and your siblings, if that's okay."

Lucy smiled at her at him. "Sure."

He could see tears in her eyes, as she hugged him goodbye. He could feel a few drops coming down again himself. When he cried, it was usually uncontrollable. He had to be strong for her. He couldn't tell her how scared he was to go back to the Experiment house, back to where people knew the old him. What he said made sense. Aslan baptized him after taking the scales off, so he was redeemed when he was baptized. However, he did not know much about Jesus in this world, only what he heard and started to believe during his reflections as a dragon.

Also, he wasn't as strong as any of his cousins or as mature. When Edmund came to hug him, he felt the presence of a king.

If he hadn't seen Edmund cry when he realized it was his last time in Narnia, he would have been ashamed of his own tears falling in Edmund's chest. "I'm sorry Edmund-and Lucy. I know I apologized in Narnia but I need to again. I'm sorry for how I was before."

Edmund said, "I forgive you. We've all made mistakes, especially me."

He remembered Edmund saying something about being a traitor, but once again decided not t o pressed him. At that moment the doorbell rang. It was Peter.

He sobbed as Edmund and Lucy hugged their brother and his cousin, Peter. He stood aloof listening to them chatter. His feelings were hurt at Peter's shock that he went to Narnia, was changed by Aslan and might go back.

He worked up the nerve to tell Peter he was sorry for how he used to be. To his surprise, Peter hugged him and he was glad to find forgiveness by his cousins, whom he grew to respect.
