PUERILITY : YTILIREUP

White. White. White.

Every direction you turn, you see white. It seems so blindingly white when you look down. The heels of your black boots dig into the white, snow covered ground as you're running up the summit of the snow covered mountain. You keep glancing back behind yourself, wondering if you were still being pursued. And you're hesitating. You're hesitating because that boy has seen you. But you remember that he couldn't have realized that he saw you when he looked your way. You aren't yourself, after all. You're wearing the same outfit that the Organization wears. You're just another castaway to the darkness. Just like before. You threw yourself away for his sake.

You stop running and turn around to look out to the vast snow covered area. You can see your footprints leading from the mountain trail. The air feels cold. You look down at the snow. You're thinking about how it's the first time that you're seeing snow. Destiny Islands is a tropical island. Because you grew up there, of course you wouldn't have seen it there before. You think about how it would have been fun to play in the snow, like a kid, with your best friends. How fun it would have been to be a kid again. You miss those days; the time when you were with your friends.

No worries about danger. No worries about doors. No worries about the darkness. No worries about anything but about how you and your best friends would spend the day together before your parents' would call you home for supper.

You miss those days when you didn't have much to worry over.

Then you chuckle lightly to yourself, about your thoughts of being a kid again. How silly of you. But you think that it's okay. It's okay to be a kid every once in awhile.

You then hear a rumbling within the distance. You look up at the top of the summit to see the Rapid Thruster Heartless, in a swarm, advancing down along the white path. You hear a familiar voice shout out and you look to see that boy with his friends—and that woman that chased you before he had come—fighting off the Heartless. You're thinking about how it would've been nice for him to know you were here. You were right before him. But you know you can't. You don't want him to see you like this. You're hesitating again. You glance down at the snow and to the Heartless, with an idea striking your mind. You're grinning under that hood over your head.

You think about the chance to play, with the snow; with your best friend.

Just like a kid.
