I forgot to put a disclaimer in the last one! I'll go back and do that in a sec.
Thanks Kurtsie for the review. I'm going with that idea
Disclaimer: I don't own Glee, unfortunately.
Rachel sat at a table in the Breadstix, sipping her drink slowly. She'd already ordered one for Blaine, and it was sitting on the edge of the table, across from her.
Blaine sat across from her.
'Thanks for the drink,' he said. 'What did you want to talk to me about?'
'Kurt,' said Rachel.
'How did I guess that?' said Blaine, joking lightly. 'I'm not that obvious, am I?'
'Sadly, yes,' said Rachel. 'But not obvious enough for Kurt to realise himself. He has admitted he's in love with you, though.'
Rachel watched Blaine closely for his reaction. His face lit up, and she took another sip of her drink, a satisfied smile on her face.
After a moment of silence, she said him, 'So … have you done a duet?'
This, from what Kurt had told Blaine, was typical Rachel behaviour. A relationship, in her eyes, wasn't proper unless there had been a duet.
He knew there was a tinge of pink on his cheeks as he said, 'Yeah. He helped me rehearse for the King's Island Christmas Spectacular. Baby, it's Cold Outside.'
Rachel raised her eyebrows. 'And you're sure you're just friends?'
'Sadly, yes,' he said, mimicking her voice when she had said it.
'And you haven't made a move on Kurt because …?' she pressed.
'… of what happened with Karofsky,' he finished.
'Fair point,' said Rachel, shrugging a little. 'So can I tell Kurt that you like him back? And tell him to make the first move?'
Blaine didn't answer. He stirred his drink with his straw to avoid answering. Finally, he sighed, and said, 'I suppose.'
'Lovely,' said Rachel. 'Because the tension was already killing me from the short time I spent with the two of you. And I need to repay Kurt for his wonderful idea.'
'So we're done here?' asked Blaine.
'I guess,' Rachel replied.
'I'll be off then,' said Blaine, taking the straw out of his drink and gulping the rest of it down. 'See you around, Rachel. And thanks.'
'You're welcome,' said Rachel. She felt extremely pleased with herself, and she hadn't even done anything yet.
Another random ending. Painfully short, I know. Hope you liked anyway! I've had my heart set on Rachel putting Kurt and Blaine together since last week or something. Review? Please?
