Her body kept telling her that she needed to get medical attention and sleep but, she ignored it and looked at the stars. Something about those bright balls of gas demanded her attention. Was it the way they shined? The way they contrasted so vividly against the dark sky that surrounded them? No, it was the way they reminded her of his grey eyes. The way she could stare at those eyes for hours and never find them dull or uninteresting.

She turned her head to gaze at the bright and full moon that hung in the sky and she couldn't help but think about his skin, the creamy alabaster that covered every inch of that impeccable body. She didn't even know his name but, she was attracted to him like a moth was attracted to light, something deep inside her told her that she should be afraid of him and want to run away. While another, larger part of her wanted to get him close to her, so she could heal any wounds he had, so she could fix anything that needed it.

The deep dark blue that cloaked everything in sight reminded her of his hair, silky, dark and something she desperately wanted to run her hands through.

The pine trees that towered to the sky made her think of the light stubble on his chin that stretched up to his ears. Like them, it looked harsh to the touch, rough against her skin.

She heard footsteps and some one picking her up as gently as possible but, knowing that the gash in her stomach was going to kill her if she didn't get help soon. Just before she passed out Alison Argent looked into the stars others call his eyes, she ran her hand through the night sky that grew out of his forehead, she felt her other hand rest on the back of a pillar of the moon that covered him from head to toe, as they ran her forehead brushed against the pine tree leaves on his chin.

" Who are you?" She managed to ask her knight in shining armor.

" Derek Hale." Came the husky deep voice. Derek Hale, that was the name of the man that was more amazing than the moon, the stars, the night sky and the tree leaves that touched it all together.
