Disclaimer: I do not own the Avengers, all rights belong to Marvel. Had I own them however, there'd be lots of Clintasha in the movies… so this idea has been running around in my head for some time now and since I had some time I decided to write the first chapter out and see what happened. I know it's a short chapter, I promise the others will be longer. So, please leave a review and tell me if you like it. Five times he was their weakness, and one time they here his.
NatashaThe relationship between the two of them had always been a mystery. Some said that they were sleeping together, Others said they'd already married, while others just did their best to stay out of their way.
They completed each other. He was his Ying to her Yang and backwards. They functioned best when together, and SHIELD knew that., that's why most of the time they got send out as a team. Together, with each other. But not this time.
Natasha shifted. SHIELD had decided that she needed to do this mission alone, since it required her…special skill set, while they had shipped Clint off who knows where. Natasha didn't worry about her partner to much, she knew he was a big boy and that he could handle himself for a few days without her. With that thought in mind, she focused on the mission at hand.
This was what she did best, this is why she was known as the Black Widow. Natasha Romanoff, Natalie Rushman, Natalia Romanova and countless of other aliases where all one and the same, the notorious Black Widow. Ex-soviet spy, master assassin and current agent of SHIELD. It was said, if you're to be caught in her web, there'll be no way out for you. Natasha liked to think of that, but in truth there had been one exception to that rule. And he wasn't here with her.
Natasha looked up at her mark. He had been blabbering and yammering about so many things, but she choose to block them out. Only replying to some things to make it look like she was still listening. But in truth, her thoughts where with her partner. Her Clint Barton.
Their relationship was complicated indeed. She knew he has feelings for her, just as she has feelings for him. But she was Russian, and she had been taught at a young age that love was for children. "Then let's be children Tasha" she smiled at the memory. It was such a Clint-thing to say.
What happened next was a blur to Natasha. She didn't have many weaknesses, but the words she heard next brought up the one weakness she did have.
"Barton's been compromised"
