A Spark of Life
Prologue
()
Harry looked around, searching and waiting for any sound or sign tht he'd been followed. He knew he wouldn't be able to enter the Department of Mysteries without causing their alarms to go off, and he was right. Seconds after he made it passed the greeter loud sirens went off alarting everyone to his enterence. Almost instantly a group of Unspeakables and Aurors alike desend upon the scene searching and surveying for the intruder, but they were far out of their league.
Several months before the untimely down fall of Voldemort, Harry had trained harshly under the trained eyes of Mad-Eye Moody as he raced against time to defeat his enemy. Those months Harry was caught in state of almost constant paranoria as evertime he stopped to take a nap or rest Moody would bust into the room trying to catch him off guard-it worked for a good couple of times until Harry managed to get several working wards to protect him.
Still, these Auror were incrediably bad as once or twice they walked passed him, never noticed that in fact the intruder was under their noses. And each time, Harry paniced thinking that he was an absolute idiot until finally the Auror or Unspeakable moved away, letting breath a sigh of relief.
Seconds passed by and from a small distance away, he could just bearly make out the shouting of Aurors searching.
"...the hell is that damn intruder?"
"Search that corrordor!"
"He has to be found!"
Voices upon voices all looking and searching for him, but Harry didn't care for their opinons or thoughts. He was going to do what he wanted regardless of the wizarding world's opinion. He was done being their plaything, and now after seven years, and becoming master of death, he'd found the information needed.
He was ready.
He tucked a small green stone into the folds of his robes, and waited for the two Aurors nearby to move away. He was hidden behind a medium sized cabinet, covered in several powerful spells waiting and two aurors simply glanced around, looking behind desks and inside of closets before moving away, and vanishing else where. Harry waited a second more, making sure another pair of Aurors hadn't come in before he moved out from his hiding place and running down another hallway...straight to the veil.
He was prepared, and he knew what the possible consequences were, but he didn't care.
Beyond that veil, beyond those folds of material, he godfather was waiting for him...
