The Perfect Day
Chapter 1
Today was graduation day at Ever After High. The girls were checking their makeup and the boys were talking to each other. After they finished that, the ceremony began. All of the graduates stood on the stage while Headmaster Grimm called out their names. Holly wasn't really paying attention, she was just staring at her boyfriend, the DJ, Holt Hyde. Holt had graduated last year, so he came to watch her special day.
"Ms. O'Hair you need to come get your diploma," Headmaster Grimm reminded.
"Oh sorry, I was just taking in the moment," Holly lied.
"That's fine Ms. O'Hair, there's no need in apologizing," Headmaster Grimm announced.
Holly walked up to get her high school diploma and stood there smiling for the thousands of pictures that her mom was taking. She quickly walked off the stage and sat in the chair that said Reserved for: Holly O'Hair. She couldn't stop thinking about what Holt would come up with to celebrate her graduation. Maybe it would be a party or he could surprise her with a necklace. The graduates and Headmaster Grimm walked outside and they threw their caps into the air. Holt walked over to Holly and told her to come with him. They ran to the Enchanted Forest and sat down for a picnic. Holly pulled off her graduation gown, and under that was a beautiful sparkly blue dress.
"You look amazing, Holly," Holt said.
"Well thank-you," Holly returned.
"Holly, I've been thinking," Holt said. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes yes yes yes yes yes times infinity!" Holly screamed. Holt slipped a beautiful ring around Holly's finger. It was silver with a blue diamond in the center.
"Great!" Holt said as he picked her up and spun her around. Holly began to grow quiet.
"Holly, what's wrong?" Holt asked his princess.
"My mother doesn't approve of you, neither does father. I don't care though, we can run away together. Poppy approves anyway, so it doesn't matter," Holly said while crying.
"Sounds like a plan, we'll have a secret wedding, and only invite your closest friends," Holt suggested.
