"Bye, Yusei!~"

"YUUUUUUUUUUUUUSEEEEEEEEEEEEEI!" Jaden Yuki shouted as he ran towards his friend from the future and gave him a monstrous hug.

The unexpected hug had caught Yusei Fudo off guard and he almost fell with the power of the smaller boy.

"Hi too you to, Jaden," Yusei said returning the hug.

The two boys stopped hugging each other and began to catch up for things. Jaden stopped talking momentarily, before he got an amazing idea.

"Hey Yusei?" He said looking up at the taller boy.

'Oh god, he has that look in his eye,' Yusei thought. "Yes Jaden?" He asked.

"Can I race you?"

Yusei almost laughed. Almost.

"You are not riding my motorcycle, Jaden," Yusei stated sternly as he turned away from his hyperactive friend.

"No, I'm not going to be riding it, you are!" Jaden shouted waving his arms as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"And you will be?"

"Riding my bike!" Jaden replied with a smile.

Yusei stifled a laugh.

"You want to race me, while I'll be on my D-wheel, and you'll be riding your bike?" Yusei asked with a chuckle.

Jaden pouted. "Yes, unless you don't think that you can do it."

Yusei eyed Jaden. "Fine then, you're on!"

"Yay!" Jaden shouted to the world jumping up and down. "I'll go get my bike! You go get you're D-wheel! We'll meet back here in 10 minutes!"

Yusei watched Jaden run away to get his bike and chuckled. But he did as he was told and got his D-wheel and met Jaden there before the 10 minutes was up.

"We'll race up the hill and down to the first street light!" Jaden said excitedly as he positioned himself on his bike. "Are you ready, Yusei?" He challenged the other duelist.

"Are you ready, Jaden?" came the backfired answer.

"Ready. Set. GOOOOOOO!" Jaden shouted as he started pedaling.

Yusei started his D-wheel and began to drive it slowly at Jaden's pace. Jaden gasped as he looked next to him and pedaled faster.

"BYE, YUSEI!" He shouted, but when he looked beside him, Yusei was still there.

Jaden pedaled even faster.

"BYE AGAIN, YUSEI!"

The smaller boy looked next to him and there was Yusei still.

"BYE, YUSEI! I'M LEAVING YOU!"

Jaden looked as Yusei still rode next to him. Yusei chuckled.

"Are you laughing at me?" Jaden asked with a small blush.

Yusei didn't reply and just kept going.

"BYE, YUSEI!" Jaden shouted as he began pedaling faster yet again.

It didn't work like Jaden hoped. First of all, Yusei still rode beside him. And then when he tried to pedal, his shoe got stuck and then fell off. As that happened, Jaden flew head first into some nearby bushes, his shoe in the street and his bike leaving him behind. Yusei stopped his D-wheen and went to help Jaden.

He lay stomach down on the bush, his head buried into his arms.

"You okay, Jaden?" Yusei asked offering the boy a hand.

"Yes," came the muffled reply before Jaden's hand reached out and grabbed Yusei's. Yusei helped the poor boy up, and got a good look at him.

Jaden's hair was slightly mess up. He had a few scratches on his face, and his jacket was ripped in one spot. His shoe was missing, and his bike was nowhere to be seen. But other than that, he seemed fine.

"Hi, Yusei," Jaden mumbled looking down at his sock.

"C'mon," Yusei said with a sigh, "Let's go find your shoe and then you can ride my D-wheel with me while we look for your bike."

Jaden squealed with excitement.

"Thank you, Yusei!" He shouted with enthusiasm as he grabbed him shoe and sat on Yusei's D-wheel patting the front of the seat, gesturing Yusei to join him.
