The Prophecy of the Digi-destined

The Prophecy of the Digi-destined

Fate Hedgehog

This is as told by the prophet Oramon of the land of Vile - before it broke away from the continent of Serber - about one month before the coming of Devimon. The cataclysmic announcement was made one sunny morning in front of the Temple of the Digivice:

A Demon shall rise amid the people, above the people and over the people;

his name shall become the paragon of evil.

His dark machinations - toothed monsters that fly among the sky and trees - shall enslave the minds and wills of the people and the asunder land shall become his grave.

For, eight children are destined to come to appear in our world from without and defeat the legions of tyranny that have consumed it. Virtue shall be with them.

Powerful allies will they make of the pillaged and demoned Digimon they pass, and only thought Unity shall they unravel the paradox of our world's genesis.

*******

If they are not to succeed that the skies shall be darkened by the wings of many bats,

The fallen people will invoke the name of the undead Digimon king,

And when the clock strikes the hour of the beast, the undead king will reveal himself in his true form - as the Beast.

Angels will then shoot arrows of Hope and Light at the loved ones of those they had been sent to protect and a miracle will happen.

*******

The worst is yet to have come because the four shades of Lucifer shall rise out from the fires of the inferno and harvest, ravaging, the four shades of terrain in our world.

Water, Forests, Cities and Skies shall succumb to their grasps all atop their Stronghold of a peak, high and twisted around.

Virtue shall be at its weakest and those chosen having been divided amongst their own;

but, only Virtue alone - Courage, Friendship, Hope and Light - entrusted to the heroes shall win the day.

*******

But in the final hour, the firery gateway shall throw itself open and the being of whom plagues our world and all - because he is all - will come.

He--It--will asunder the foundations of our existence and then scatter the keys of our make and both held in perpetual jeopardy will risk to fall.

In the end, only Hope and our Memories alone will be able to save us all. . .

And this world will see it's final sunrise.

I just like doing small odd-jobs like this. Actually this was being formulated for a series I'm going to start entitled "Darkness Comes Home". Oramon will also appear in that.

[Legal Mumbo-Jumbo: I do not own Digimon, never have and never will. That clear? Good. I do - however - own the character Oramon and his explained 'prophecy'. The selection from the episode of Digimon entitled "The Prophecy" is copyright Digimon though. Okay? Reading any portion of this disclaimer - verbally or mentally - removes any rights you may've had to sue me.]
