Author's Note: I'm not Justifying what Dev did. I'm just sick and tired of the fics out there portraying him as a stalker.

'God, she is amazing.' Dev though as stood near the entrance. Watching Karen singing. Despite him knowing that she was incredible, tonight he thought that she was going to be huge on Broadway. Infact you could say that after tonight if he'd bet on who would sweep the Tonys he would say Bombshell would win every musical category.

Though he knew that his relationship with Karen was dead, he couldn't help but continue to love her. Soon he found himself in a local bar, nursing a beer, wishing that he could go back in time and tell past Dev don't sleep with anyone, especially Ivy. Later he found himself at his hotel packing taking the late night train back to New York. He had to go to Karen's hotel and give he his key to their, now hers, apartment and a note with two words.

When he'd arrived to her hotel, he went to the front desk and handed them an envolope that contained the key and the note with two words. Then he was at the train station, the clock closing in on midnight. As he went through the procedure of getting on board the train back to New York, he checked his phone to see any missed calls. Despite there being several mostly from work, a few from his friends in the press, and a couple from R.J. None from Karen, confirming that their relationship was dead.

He then goes on to call Derek, instead he had gotten his voicemail. Sighing he gave on simple message.

"Derek, this is Dev, rightfully I deserve the title World's Biggest Git, for what I've done to Karen." He pauses as he tries to fight the tears. "But if you ever hurt Karen in any way, emotionally, physically, verbally, or even try to destroy her career. I swear on my life and that I hold dear I will kill you." He ends the message there not wanting to sound humorous. Looking up at the night sky as the Train starts to pick up steam after it left the station.

His final thought before sleep consumes him kept rolling and rolling in his mind. 'God, she was amazing.'
