You cannot feel the pain inside

The pain that eats at me all the time

It grips at my heart

How Can I resist?

The darkness in me that lurks within

I try to scream but my voice is shut out

It falls on deaf ears the darkness creeps out

I try to hold it back but the pain still fights

I give into the darkness and in turn lose my light
