First and foremost, I want to say there will be no OC in my story nor will this story be set in an AU. This story I will be writing about will be set in the flash universe. I will try my best to have these characters sound like how they should but I can't make any promises on that. There won't be any weird slash fiction in this story or incest. I don't have any intention of using profanity neither but there will be some violence in this story, I hope nothing that there isn't anything I would have to post a trigger warning about (I'm not including rape, or drugs or gangs or PTSD in the story). So if anyone gets offended by this story I'm sorry in advance.

I don't own the rights to the Flash nor the characters of the show and I'm not claiming too either, and the picture you see as the cover for the story I own neither, I found it on the internet and I liked. I was a big fan of Barry and Nora relationship especially after learning that, her character grew up without him. Also, all the characters you will be reading about in this story is either still on the TV show The Flash or have been on the show even if only for one episode or at least have been mentioned the same thing goes with the places it was either seen or mentioned on the show.

I originally had this idea for this story since the ending of the eighth episode of The Flash season five, but I didn't write it because I thought the show would have address it but they didn't. But now with this story I feel I can explore more and make better by a combination of two timelines that the show has already made this season with one of them being more obvious than the other one, plus I will be adding my own timeline to this story and putting into one big storyline now since the flash season five is over. All I would like is for you the readers and users of this site if you chose to read my story give it a chance please don't judge it until it's finished, and before anyone ask me no I don't know when the story will be completed I know when I would like to have it completed by, I would like it to be finished with the story before October 1st, 2019 before season six of the flash comes out, now will it be done by then I don't know because I don't want to rush this even though I try to write one or two chapters per day but I know it will be finished because I already know how I want this story to end. I'm just unsure of the journey I'm taking to get there. But I think it will be worth it the wait.

And I would like to give a "warning" ... this story might not be for Iris West-Allen fans… I'm not dissing her in no way in this story but the season five of The Flash made me realize that there are a few qualities of her character I don't like that I even had to re-watch the past four seasons all over again just to make sure and well I did, so here we are. So I'm just giving you heads up there will be tense moments between Barry and Iris in the present and when I do parts in the future there will be tension between Nora and Iris as well as in the present while Nora will still be more attached and clingy to her father Barry Allen. There will also be tension between the rest of team Flash and Iris in the present and future it will basically be Iris against everyone but not for the whole story, yes even her father the only ally she will really have is Cecille which was Cecille to have tension with Joe. Don't worry though it may not be right away but all the tension that I put in the story will be addressed in the story somewhere down the line as well it may take a few chapters but it will be explained well I hope. There were a few questions in The Flash season five that I hoped the writers would address but they didn't so now I'm doing my own little spin on this. This story may sound like it's a been there done that but it's not well to me at least. The story takes place literally takes place seconds after the season five finale in the future of 2049 and a few hours in the present of 2019. The story will be going back and forth between the present and future but not for the whole story. There will be times where a few chapters will be in 2019 while there will be a few chapters that will be in 2049. At the beginning it will be in 2019 then towards the middle it will take place in 2049 and that's it with the future until the end of my story except for scene that I'm going to be adding that involves Barry in the future I won't say how it will be done but this scene I think I can actually get away with doing it and not have it feel crazy or out of place since the speed force doesn't seem to be affected by the timeline changes which I think is a fitting for me giving the heartbreak the flash writers gave me when Iris had the nerve to tell Barry it doesn't bother her that Nora was working with Thawne the specific moment will be a driving force for Barry in my story in where he stands with Iris and whether or not he can get back to how things were with her and even a question of does he want to, not saying you have to agree with me but I'm just giving you heads up the readers.

I will be bringing three characters that are thought to be dead on the show back to life in my story. If you want to find out what characters I'm bringing back continue reading the authors notes, now if you want to see how I'm bringing them back, well you will have to read my story. Now I can't promise there won't be any mistakes in here not because it's my first fan fiction story but because I'm not perfect I'm only human and perfection takes time and if I was to wait until this story was perfect well I would never release it.

My story will have three main plot lines and I will admit the first few chapters may sound like it is all over the place but that is purposefully and I'm not saying it just because this is my first story. I have been working on this story since May 20th of this year and I wanted to have more than one chapter to able to put out. I already know how I want to end this story; In this story, I will be exploring Zoom's return to the land of the living as well as Henry Allen return Barry's father I will also be bringing back Lia Nelson to the land of the living but in future of course... I will also be exploring the upcoming crisis that is set to take place later on thing year, (however I'm not sure yet I actually want to explore the crisis itself or just focus on how Barry Allen and his team will deal and cope with his upcoming disappearance, because if you're a fan of the show then you already know this from the website already explains why he goes missing it just doesn't explain why he's missing for so long and hey, who knows giving this new timeline the writers gave to us Barry won't be missing that long unless they doing a big-time jump in season six that no one is aware of because I doubt that going to have his character be missing for half of the show). I will also be bringing Nora West-Allen the daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West back into the fold of the story earlier then you may expect, and yes there is a real reason that I'm bringing her back, it's not just because I liked her character on the show.

You don't need to tell me... I'm more than aware that there are some parts that may seem to be OOC for this story... and I don't want to give an excuse saying oh this is my first story that's why it's like this... even though I do hope with practice I can and will get better. but the OOC, I don't think it's intentionally but then again who knows maybe I could have it be also; keep in mind when Barry and his team destroyed Cicada dagger a new timeline was made... then if you go back to the eighth episode of the flash of season five (I feel like a new timeline was made there too when Zoom chased Barry of 2018 and his daughter Nora into the speed force) plus in the story I'm writing I'm bringing Nora back to the present to be with Barry and team flash so that's another new timeline right there for the present and the future. So you with all these timelines coming into play we don't really know how they would and wouldn't act (there three different timelines going on in my story; I know it sounds like a lot... but I feel I can do my story justice even if it takes a while to do so) and if you still have problems with the OOC just think about this in season three of the flash with Barry... the Barry I know and love wouldn't have broken that promise to Iris about looking out for her dad; but her death made him break it or even more recently in season five with Iris and Nora. the Iris of 2018 wouldn't think of taking away her daughter's speed but in the future for unknown reasons she did it. and if that can't help then I'm sorry and I still hope you enjoy my story (I know the writers gave Iris a reason to have taken away Nora speed be oh because she lost Barry but to me that wasn't a reason that's was an excuse and to me there is a difference, and in my story I'm going to expand on why I think she did it... and though I will have Barry still be the reason behind it I will be expanding more it story)
