Lily Richard's groaned as she gazed up at the Baxter Building. Her older brother, Reed, lived in this huge place, though he could barley afford it. The reason she was here? Because she was supposed to be going on some stupid space misson type thingy. Like she cared. She didn't want to go on it, but she had no other choice.
"Good morning Miss. Richard's," Stan Lee said, Lily actually really liked Stan, especially his name "Haven't seen you in a while!"
Lily smiled, said her "Good morning" and went up to room 452 on floor 27.
Of course, no one was home yet (she had to pick the lock to get into the penthouse!)
She plopped down on her bed, throwing her bag carelessly across the floor, and sighed. She didn't really want to be under big brothers watchful eye, but what else could she do? She couldn't go back home, no she really couldn't. That was out of the matter. She was only 21, but she knew what she wanted, and that was to be famous. Have everyone know your name, hate her because she was pretty and want people to be jealous.
Lily had to admit, it sounded selfish, but if you knew what she been through in to last 21 years, you'd understand.
"Who are you?" A familiar voice asked. She grinned.
"BEN!" She yelled and jumped up and hugged him. She chuckled, but hugged her back.
"Long time, no see, huh, Flower?" She frowned. He was using the nickname. She hated it, but didn't really care.
"Yep!" Wait…."Where's Reed?" Lily asked.
"I don't keep track of him," He said, holding his hands in front of his face.
"Well," Lily asked "Where's the lab?"
"3 Doors Down-" Ben started.
"OH! I LOVE THAT BAND!!"
"I know, Flower," Ben said. After telling her where to go, she walked quietly into the lab. She always was graceful and quiet. Reed often said she was sly as a fox, cute as a kitten, and fierce as a lion. Lily just told him he'd seen the "Wizard of OZ" too many times.
"Hey EggHead!" She said.
"Lily?" He asked, turning around.
"No, the muffin man?" She asked, sarcastic, opening her arms.
After her and Eggheads catch up, he asked her something she really wished he hadn't.
"You remember Johnny Storm?"
Lily's eyes grew wide. Her and Johnny went out for 3 years. They both loved each other. Really. But someone from Lily's past got in the way, and tore them apart. She would love to see Johnny again. But would he?
"Yeah…." She asked "Why ya askin'?"
"Well, he's the pilot….," Lily raised her eyebrows, not getting it. "On the mission…"
"OH MY GOSH!" She asked, standing up. "Really?"
"Yes," Reed laughed "And I thought you would like to see him again-"
"Nah duh, Milk Dud!" She said.

"Front and Center!" A voice yelled.
Ben jumped up and saluted.
"Johnny?" Lily asked looking up.
He turned around in shock. "Lily?"
"Oh my god…." She mumbled.
Suddenly, he pulled her outside.
"Wh-" But she was cut off by him backing her to the wall, kissing her.
After a while, they pulled back. He looked at her, she hadn't changed much, except for the…. bruises?
"Lily," He breathed "Who did this?"
She didn't answer. She just looked down as a few tears fell.
"What is it?" He asked, overprotective skills kicking in.
"Nothing." She sighed, she looked up and burst. She fell into his strong arms, crying her eyes out.
"Shh.…it's okay, your safe now Lily, It's okay now."
