Elise's Return

Chapter One. Prelude to Revenge

When the world last saw Elise Lenior, the Quest kids were in New Orleans. Elise was a beautiful woman, who fell in love with Hadji Singh after he saved her from a group of men that were after her. Jessie Bannon thought there was something fishy with the girl, but of course, Jonny Quest didn't suspect her a threat at first.

That was until an old man named Arnaud stepped in and told him the truth. Elise was a demon, and she had been around for years. She controlled people all around her into doing what she demanded like Hadji or her "adopted mother" Mrs. Adrian. Elise stole the face, youth and body of Arnaud's sister Celeste to live for fifty years and when those years have passed, Elise was after Jessie and was planning to take her body and face to live for another fifty years. Luckily, Jonny rescued Jessie and kept that from happening and by plunging a blade into the bat creature that Elise turned into, Hadji killed the creature right when the eclipse was finally over.

"Now Celeste," Arnaud tearfully said before releasing the photo of his sister into the river, "You may finally rest in peace."

After all that was finally over, Jonny looked over to Jessie and Hadji and told them, "Hey, at least we got a great view of the eclipse."

So he thought. In the river, something was floating and green eyes were glowing in the river.

Six Months Later

A young girl was dancing with the the wind a few miles near the old river near the fateful house. Her long hip length light brown hair moved gracefully with the wind on the beautiful day that came with the decent flowing wind. She looked up at the sky with her emerald green eyes, and then looked over at her outfit: a red short sleeved top, tan shorts that reached slightly above her knees and white sneakers.

The young woman looked over as the sun began to set and she hurried home.

"I wonder where grandpa is going to take me when we leave New Orleans tomorrow." the young woman said to herself. She know that the disaster that was known as Hurricane Katrina destroyed what was once a beautiful city and she assured herself that New Orleans would soon be fixed up twice as beautiful as before.

The young lady walked over to the home she and her grandfather lived in before nighttime came. She was surprised to see the police at her home.

"What is going on?!" the young woman exclaimed as she ran to the police, "Where is my grandfather?"

"Are you Kacie Daniels?" the first cop asked.

"Yes." the young woman answered, "That would be me."

"We are very sorry to tell you," the second cop announced as the coroner took a body covered in a red blanket to the ambulance, "Somebody broke into the house and the person killed your grandfather."

"No. No!" Kacie was now in shock and was devastated, "How?!"

"I think that you should take a look at the body." the first cop suggested.

Kacie walked over to the body that was covered in the red blanket. She was shocked to see the sight before her once the blanket was uncovered. Arnuad's body was completely drained. Pretty much mummified.

"Oh my god." Kacie gasped as she clasped her hands in shock.

"Your grandfather left this note for you apparently." the second cop gave her a piece of paper.

Kacie unfolded the piece of paper to read what the note said.

Kacie,

When I give you this note, that means that something has happened to me. I want you let Jonny Quest and his friends know about this. I need you to have them to help you with what is to come. The three children should know about that eclipse months ago here in New Orleans. They should remember I helped them save the girl Jessie Bannon from Elise. That is probably how they will they remember me. Explain to them everything that they need to know. And remember, I love you and I will be okay.

Kacie looked over to the cops, "Do you guys know where Jonny Quest resides?"

The cops glanced at her in confusion.

"My grandfather was asking for him in the letter." Kacie told the cops.

Kacie ended up finding out the location where Jonny lived. He resided at Florida. Kacie took the first flight to Florida to find the Quest Team and bring them to Louisiana to help her take care of Elise once and for all.

"Don't worry grandpa," Kacie said tearfully, "You will be able to rest in peace once Jonny Quest and his family help me deal with Elise once and for all."

A tall beautiful young lady with tan skin, long hip length black hair and green eyes, wearing a pair of black heels, normal stockings, a black skirt and a white sleeveless top was glancing at the plane that Kacie was in.

"Good." the young woman smiled an evil smile, "She will be the key to my revenge. I took care of the old man, now once she brings the children back here, I shall take care of that little brat that helped him interfere with my plan during the Eclipse. All will suffer who dares to interfere with this plan."

She then chuckled.
