Clint Barton's Homestead :

Clint Barton who was under house arrest for aiding Captain America in the clash of the Avengers was in a picnic mode . He was training his daughter Lila in the art of archery while his sons Cooper and Nate were playing catch with a baseball .

Clint : "Can you see ?"

Lila : " Yeah ."

"You sure ?"

"Mm-hmm ." and that was when Clint covered her right eye with a little bit of her long hair .

"How about now ? Can you see now ?" and she only smiled at that .

"All right. Ready? Three fingers. Nice!" and his daughter held the bow and the arrow in position , waiting to shoot .

Cooper : "Nice throw, kiddo !" after he received the ball from Nate.

Laura : "Hey, you guys want mayo or mustard, or both ?"

Lila felt somewhat disgusted : "Who wants mayo on a hotdog ?"

Clint replied : "Pardon your brothers." and he said to Laura "Two mustards, please! Thanks, momma."

Laura : "Got it. Nate, mayo or mustard ?"

Nate : "I want ketchup ."

Meanwhile Lila put her entire focus on the bullseye .

Clint : "Mind your elbow ."

She let go of the arrow and it hit the mark with a thunk ! Clint looked pleased and patted his daughter on her back "Good job, Hawkeye! Go get your arrow."

Laura : "Hey, guys. Enough practice. Soup's on."

Clint : "All right. We're coming. We're hungry. Lila, let's go."

He called for Lila but she was gone ... disintegrated into dust .

"Lila ? Honey ?"

Barton wasn't aware of what happened and he turned back to look at his wife and sons missing .

"Babe ? Boys ! Boys ? Laura !"

Avengers HQ (Upstate New York) :

The Avengers and other heroes who had survived went to the nearby garden where a pit was dug up . Sharang and Amal were carrying Electro-Man's coffin inside which contained a dead Immanuel wearing his Electro-Man suit .

Before burying it , Amal put a gun inside his coffin saying : "I'm sorry for everything Nadal !"

Sharang joins in : "Me too ."

Carol put inside the coffin , a picture that was taken of the two of them when they danced for the first time .

Tears flowed down her eyes : "I wish we had more time ... but I'm going to miss you a lot ..." and she hugged Natasha who comforted her .

The surviving Avengers buried the coffin in the pit and covered it with mud . They went inside the living room but they didn't even say a word . All of them were in a state of shock and grief .

Just then there was a clatter of footsteps . They all looked around to see Pepper Potts running towards them .

Pepper : "Guys , you gotta hear this out !"

She had held a facemask from one of Iron Man's old armours . It was old but functional .

Steve : "What happened ?"

Bruce : "Let me at it . I'll plug in the mask and play the audio ."

He did that and the audio that was played was quite disturbing .

"Hey, Miss Potts. If you find this recording... don't feel bad about this. Part of the journey is the end. Just for the record, being adrift in space with zero promise of rescue is more fun than it sounds. Food and water ran out four days ago. Oxygen will run out tomorrow morning. That'll be it. When I drift off, I will dream about you. It's always you."

Natasha : "No way !"

Rhodey : "He's still alive ."

Bruce : "What are we gonna do Cap ?"

Carol : "Dr. Banner , can you find out where the signal came from ?"

Bruce : "It's not that easy . Look , Stark is probably gonna be light years away from us so it's gonna need ..."

Rocket : "Leave it to me . Show me your controls ."

Bruce showed Rocket the controls . He connected the facemask with the control panel and started tinkering with it .

The only person who was least interested in this affair was Thor who was sulking about his own failure because of which half the universe was annihilated . Damn ! I should have gone for the head ! He thought as he sat on a chair , eating rolls .

Rhodey : "Are we done yet ?"

Rocket : "Wait for it ... Hey Thor , why don't you do something !" but Thor didn't say anything in response to that . He simply frowned and went back to eating rolls .

The screen now showed a small blip , which was moving slowly in the background of what seemed to be an array of stars .

Rocket : "I've zeroed in on his coordinates . You should be able to get him ."

Natasha : "And how are we supposed to do that ? We don't have a spaceship so ..."

Carol : "I'm going in ." and this left everyone shocked .

Sharang : "Dude , you can't be serious ."

Carol : "Yes , I am ."

Rocket : "Thor , you should go . You have that Stormbreaker thingy right ? You can do this ?"

Thor : "No I can't , it's useless !"

Rocket : "Seriously Thor ? You're still mad about the whole thing ?"

Thor : "I'm absolutely mad at everything that happened ! I lost my family , my people and now ... because of me , we lost ! All because of me !"

Bruce came over and put his hands on his shoulder : "It's okay , we all lost . It's not your fault . I can feel your pain pal ."

Steve : "Point is , we can't change what has happened but at least , we got to save what's left of us ."

Carol : "That's why I'm going in . Just send me the coordinates and I'll ..."

Rocket : "I don't think you're understanding a damn bit about the business kid . This is space travel we're talking about and ..."

Sharang : "You don't have your powers . Probably you're still under the trauma that ..."

Carol : "He died ? Come on ! That doesn't change anything . Look , if this doesn't help then I'm just gonna let you know that ..." and she transformed into her superhero form .

Carol : "Thanos only broke me real bad but he didn't steal my powers . Somehow I had it in me and I didn't know it yet ." and she flew out , into the space beyond .

Space (Onboard the Milano) :

Tony Stark was whiling away his time , adrift in space by playing a game with Nebula . Tony and Nebula were the only ones to survive the snap . The game was to flick and send small metallic shards flying above a goalpost made by the opponent's fingers . Nebula was just a piece behind Tony and she even flicked a shard in a random direction .

Tony : "You don't need to do that, because you're just holding the position ."

She tried again .

"Come on . That was close ."

She tried once again and this time she scored a goal .

"That's a goal . We're now one a-piece . I would like to try again . We're tied up. Feel the tension ? It's fun ."

Tony flicks only to have nearly missed the goalpost .

"That was terrible . Now you have a chance to win ."

She did and she seemed to use it pretty well . She flicked her shard and it flew above Tony's fingers !

"And you won. Congratulations. Fair game. Good sport. You had fun ?"

Nebula : "It was fun ."

After playing the game , he and Nebula started working on the fuel cells that got damaged . Nebula helped Tony in getting his stomach wounds healed quickly by using a blue torch like device on the place where he was stabbed .

After that , he went to the cockpit where he saw a battered helmet of his suit . With the help of Nebula , he was able to send a transmission from the Milano to one of his old Iron Man suits , hoping that Pepper survived the Snap .

He pressed a button on the helmet and it made a scan on him . Realising that his doom was eminent , he decided to make an audio log of himself before he passed out .

"Is this thing on? Hey, Ms. Potts. If you find this recording, don't post it on social media. It's gonna be a real tearjerker. I don't know if you're ever gonna see these. I don't even know if you're still... Oh, God, I hope so. Today's day 21? No, uh, 22. You know, if it wasn't for the existential terror of steering into the literal void of space, I'd say I'm feeling a little better today. The infection's run its course thanks to theblue meanieback there. Oh, you would love her. Very practical. Only a tiny bit sadistic. So, the fuel cells were cracked duringbattleand we figured out a way to reverse the ion charge, bought ourselves about 48 hours of flight time. Uh, but it's now dead in the water. 1,000 light years from the nearest 7-11. Oxygen will run out tomorrow morning... and that will be it. I know I said no more surprises, but I gotta say, I was really hoping to pull off one last one. But it looks like... well, you know what it looks like. Don't feel bad about this. I'm mean, actually, if you grovel for a couple weeks... and then move on with enormous guilt. I should probably lie down for a minute, rest my eyes. Please know, when I drift off and be like everything lately, I'm fine. I'm totally fine. I dream about you. Because it's always you."

He deactivated the helmet and he sat on one of the seats of the cockpit . Nebula took off her jacket and put it on Tony as they drifted off , to oblivion .

Just then , Tony was blinded by a bright stream of light . Something bright was headed their way ... or was it something ?

Tony held his hands and covered his face from the intense brightness but it came closer and closer to the ship until is stopped . Tony took a closer look at the bright blob and was surprised .

Tony : "Carol , it's you ?"

Carol : "Wassup Mr. Stark ? Don't feel like going home ?"

Tony : "I don't know . I'm going home anyway so ..."

Carol : "Relax , you ain't gonna die . Besides you got a surprise back home."

Tony : "Really ? You mean ..."

Carol smiled : "Come . See for yourself ." and she flew towards the bottom of the nearly dead spaceship and dragged it at a terrifying pace .

Avengers HQ (Upstate New York) :

Meanwhile , Steve shaved off the beard that he grew during his fugitive years . With a world in complete disarray , it made sense to him that it now sorely needed someone to give them hope . He donned his old looks , a clean shave with blonde hair .

The ground rumbled and shook . Everyone went out to see what was going on and they saw Carol dragging a dead Milano to the HQ . The landing gears which were like legs came out as she put down the spaceship . The gangway opened up and at the entrance .

Tony came out of the ship . He was helped by Nebula to walk until Steve caught hold of him .

Tony : "Couldn't stop him ."

Steve : "Neither could I ."

"I lost the kid ."

"Tony, we lost."

"Is, umm..." and Pepper stepped in to allay her worst fears "Oh, my God!"

"It's okay ." Tony hugs her and reassures her .

Carol was shocked : "Wait , Peter's dead ?"

Tony : "I'm sorry ." Then he noticed that only Sharang , Amal and Manas were there with him along with her .

"What happened to the others ?"

Sharang : "Disintegrated . Reduced to ashes ."

Tony noticed that Carol seemed quite depressed . "And where is he ?"

Carol : "He's no more ..." she spoke softly .

Amal : "Thanos murdered him ." and Manas pointed at the gravestone under which he was buried . They all went inside the base where Immanuel's friends who survived the snap comforted her while the Avengers began to discuss among themselves .

Natasha : "It's been 23 days since Thanos came to Earth. World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working are trying to take a census, And it looks like he did... He did exactly what he said he was gonna do. Thanos wiped out.. ...fifty percent of all living creatures."

Tony : "Where is he now ? Where ?"

Steve : "We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through."

Tony noticed that Thor was sulking while sitting on a chair.

Tony : "What's wrong with him ?"

Rocket "He's pissed. He thinks he failed. Which of course he did, but there's a lot of that goin' around, ain't there ?"

Tony : "Honestly, at this exact second, I thought you were a Build-A-Bear ."

Rocket : "Maybe I am ."

We've been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep space scans, and satellites, and we got nothing. - Tony you fought him. -

Tony : "Who told you that ?"

Steve : "Didn't fight him ."

"No . He wiped my face with a planet while a Bleecker Street magician gave away the stone . That's what happened. There was no fight... "

"Okay . Did he give you any cluesc? Any coordinates, anything ?"

"Pfft ! I saw this coming a few years back. I had a vision . I didn't wanna believe it . Thought I was dreaming ."

"Tony I'm gonna need you to focus ."

"And I needed you . As in past tense . That trumps what you need . It's too late, buddy . Sorry . You know what I need ? I need to shave . And I believe I rememeber telling ..."

"Tony, Tony, Tony ... "

"Why that otherwise , that what we needed was a suit of armor around the world . Remember that ? Whether it impacted our precious freedoms , or not . That's what we needed ."

"Well that didn't work out , did it ?"

"I said we'd lose . You said , 'We'll do that together , too .' Well guess what , Cap ? We lost . You weren't there . But that's what we do , right ? Our best work after the fact ? We're the A-vengers ? Not the Pre-vengers ?"

"Okay . You made your point . Just sit down , okay ?"

"No , no . Here's my ... She's great, by the way ." while making a reference to Carol .

"Tony, sit, sit down !"

"We need you . You're new blood ." he said referring to Carol . "Bunch of tired old mills ... I got nothing for you , Cap . I got no coordinates , no clues , no strategies , no options ... Zero . Zip . Nada . No trust , you liar ... Here, take this . You find him and you put that on. You hide ." and as he said that , he ripped of the nanomite core that was attached to his chest and gave it to Steve .

"Tony !"

"I'm fine . I ..." and he collapsed under the sheer exhaustion and starvation for the past 22 days .

Pepper stayed with an unconscious Tony who was taking rest on a bed.

Pepper : "Bruce gave him a sedative. He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day."

Carol looked at all of this and she felt very angry. She decided that she'd do that one thing which she couldn't do before.

"You guys take care of him ."

Sharang : "Where are you going ?"

Carol : "To kill Thanos ."

Rhodey : "Hey. You know we usually work as a team here, and between you and I we're also a little fragile ."

Steve : "We realise that he took away the one person whom you valued a lot but this is our fight, too."

Amal : "You even know where he is ?"

Carol : "I'll try ..."

Nebula : "Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is. Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. Then when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask, where would we go once his plan was complete? His answer was always the same. To The Garden."

Rhodey : "That's cute. Thanos has a retirement plan. So where is he, then?"

Rocket : "That's the mystery though . When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it... and we've got nothing ever since."

Carol : "So does that mean , all is lost ?"

Sharang : "I'm afraid , yes."

Carol went away to a room silently sobbing to herself.

Titan II : The Final Resting Place of Thanos

The Mad Titan plucked some large fruits from his garden where he hung his armour on a pole so that it acts like a scarecrow. It all seemed peaceful until suddenly , a vortex sucked him in and trapped him . He tried using the Infinity Gauntlet but he screamed as he felt as though he was stuck in one place and he couldn't move at all !
