There was a photograph – full of color and light.
Though bright as it was – darkened with tear stains,
He looked up from the photo, watching her…
She looked back at him. She reflected no pain.
Carrying the weight of the curse
He went down the hall with his heart heavy,
Watching her everyday from the day he was born,
He knew his mother was not ready.
Painful was the day the blonde boy came.
The mother was scared – horrified.
She saw the body and not the soul,
Of her born child who cried.
She cried painful tears of blood in her heart.
She was shocked; she hated her first born.
Several years have passed.
"I will not regret it…" she said with wide eyes.
"Are you sure?" the doctor asked.
The boy wished to ask why.
Her words struck him like sharp thorns.
After those last words, he saw white light,
Then…
The boy was gone from existence.
Ever since, she has been normal…
Fourteen years have passed since then.
Keeping a photo of his mother in his pocket,
Keeping an eye out for his mother,
He sees her everyday, though no tears poured out into buckets.
The mother sees him everyday as well.
"You're mother must be very worried," she said to him one day.
"You should go home soon."
She walked away, not knowing what he wanted to say.
"I am your child," the boy wanted to say, but held them back.
"Why did you reject the curse within,
when it was the love that was locked inside?
When it was me who needed love, not sin?
Why is it that your first child has to watch you from afar,
While it is the second who stays close to you?
When it was the second without the curse,
When it was the second who you thought was the true
Child you dreamt of to bear?"
White lights of memory struck the boy.
He wanted to keep his memory of his mother.
He wanted to keep the memory of her rejection.
It made him strong, like his father.

Why am I making so many dramatic/angst stories? Do not ask me. I have no idea either. Well, please tell me in a review what you thought of this short poem. For those of you who couldn't tell, it was about Momiji and his mother.
Thanks for your time and special thanks to reviewers!
